I enjoyed the friendly service here but I was mostly impressed with how quickly the food was served after ordering. It felt like it literally came from the stove to the plate. Well hot!

Went here for brunch with a few friends. The staff was friendly, the drinks were great the food was good. The wings were flavorful and tendor- slid right off of the bone!! I would definitely recommend the pistachio cheesecake for dessert!!!!

Had a reservation for a table of 6, we waited over 30mins to be seated. Lamb sliders were good, saltfish&plantain fritters lacked flavor . There was an issue with our entrees; 5/6 entrees arrived after waiting ~15 mins we were told the 6th entree could not be made as they ran out of fish. Few mins later our waiter returned stating they actually have one more left and will be able to make the dish. When the fish came out it was burned and had a charred taste. We ended up sending it back. The mac&cheese was honestly really good. Bill came up to $420.. overall? Not worth it. Music is good, our waiter Jarrel was nice- he tried his best. Drinks were good.

Great selection of Rums and very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Food looked great although we only came in for a drink. The place had a great vibe to it. We had Rum neat El Dorado 15yr and Cocktails. Well worth a visit. Look forward to visiting again on our next visit to NYC.

Went to Omar Kitchen and Rum Bar for a birthday for my mother. It is definitely a younger crowd so I would take that into mind. The food was pretty good, my favorite was the Mac and cheese and the salt fish fritters but really everything there is a good! Especially for a Caribbean restaurant in Soho! The picture is of the brown stew salmon!

Social media made this place seem a lot more bigger than it is, not much space, tables a very small. I ordered scotch bonnet wings with a side of festival and mango fruit juice. I was blown away by the level of spice in the wings, it’s no joke guys, I had to get ketchup to eat with it. Speaking from someone who is used to spicy Jamaican food. I would recommend to the restaurant to tone the heat in the wings it’s over bearing, making it hard to really enjoy the food. Apart from that I enjoyed the festivals and mango juice. Customer service was good also.

My niece recommended this location as opposed to Brooklyn. I had a parking spot but when we entered it appeared like people were still setting up so I had to find an employee to assist us. Overall it was good

For any occasion, date night, birthday, or anniversary, visit Omar’s Kitchen. You will not be disappointed. We ordered a smorgasbord of apps ( which I can’t remember, lol). I do remember having fish as an entrée which was absolutely delicious. A dj is usually there on the weekends to create that perfect island vibe. Although the seating area is somewhat tight, we didn’t feel overly cramped. Service is first class, and food came out quickly. I have told all my friends about this eatery and will be visiting soon before summer ends. Omar’s Kitchen comes highly recommended.

The food was so good and the service was so attentive. I came with a friend and her 5 month old they made sure we had extra room to maneuver around with the baby.

Omar’s made me proud to be a Jamaican. They are bringing Jamaican cuisine into the 21st century. I’ve never had curried oxtail, they were amazing. I ate my fried snapper down to the bone. I’m not a big fan of mixed drinks due to the sugar, but I had a sorrel cocktail which was not too sweet that was perfect for me. The music set the mood and the service was great. Multiple servers checked in on us through the evening to ensure we were good. I will definitely be returning.
