Normally food and service is exceptional. We went Saturday night and the service was still exceptional but the steaks didn’t taste like they had been marinated or anything and my shrimp plate was overcooked to point I could not eat it. They took it off our ticket.

If there was more stars I would definitely give this place all of them!!! Service was excellent, the food we ordered came out fast and so fresh. I ordered the lunch special county fried steak. Let me just say it was the best I have ever had! My boyfriend ordered the fried shrimp which was really good as well. We are out of town, but will be back for sure!

To begin, me and family took a road trip from around STL, Mo. to the Gulf and stopped in here for a quick bite.The decor and the appeal is the southern hospitality way, however the food seemed rather simple. The mashed potatoes taste like instant, the gravy seemed like packet gravy and the green beans out of a can but all dressed up. The ribs were falling off the bone however, which was good! I was expecting some good ole’ fashioned southern food but got a halfway decent tasting plate instead….. average, but good..
