We were taking a road trip to the mountains and wanted to enjoy a sit down breakfast. I Googled breakfast near me and ended up here. The wait Staff was so welcoming when we arrived. When we were seated, I was excited to see they offered FISH and GRITS for breakfast. Those were the TWO BIGGEST pieces of Flounder!!!! Oh and it was absolutely AMAZING. Sean had the Country Fried Steak cooked to his Medium preference. My one regret is that I didn’t get the HOMEFRIES. The owner Kim was so sweet and I let her know, she definitely has a new customer. Glad we visited.

The fried zucchini was really good. The shrimp were not. Service was suffering. I heard one of the waitresses telling her table she was spending most of her time fixing all the stuff the new people were messing up. One a good note the sweet tea was good and they have fresh lemon slices.

Stopped into this place after basically getting ignored by staff at a pancake house right up the street, and I’m glad I did. Great food and the Host (I believe his name was Connor) and my waitress were very friendly and the price was not outrageous either. Definitely recommend and plan on stopping on future trips through the area.

Im very disappointed with the treatment of service. I been here in the past and had pleasant experiences with the staff but when the owners wife becomes un professional than we have a problem.. I had ordered take out from out of state. I arrived at restaurant to find my order was never put in, now the purpose of me ordering ahead was due to me not having to wait. The owners wife realized my order was not made and asked if i mind waiting for my food. The store os super crowded, and orders are backing up. I told the owners wife not to make any food because i did not have time to wait. She than took her pen and pad that was in her hand and threw it across the counter. She stormed away waving her hands yelling”you can wait, why cant you wait. I continue to say no thank you on the food but it seemed to make her angrier. By this point the customers in the restaurant was being disturbed by her rudeness moving around them and began complaining.Customers in line was very empathetic and keep shaking their heads at the owner as she acted out of character and foolish in the business..I do not entertain foolish unprofessional act. If you keep her around your business it may not last long

My husband and I ate Breakfast here while waiting on car repairs to get finished at the KIA dealership. Between the two of us we had eggs, tenderloin, home fries, gravy, pancakes, toast, tea and coffee. The service was on point and the food was very good! Everyone working was so nice and smiling! I would recommend this little restaurant anytime!

It was my first time visiting here today with my boyfriend and we LOVED it. The food was amazing I ordered the Texas omelette and added mushrooms with some toast and grits, he tried the chicken and dumplings with fries squash and fried okra. It was all cooked perfectly and tasted great. The restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere. I don’t recall the name Of our waitress unfortunately but she was very sweet and we definitely will be returning.
