Black bean noodles are the best!! Must have. Dishes are good. Don’t expect too much service. Must finish eating fast. Always people are waiting. They speak Korean to all customers!! Just have to keep asking questions in English

We got the seafood jjampong and jjajangmyeon. Both tasted amazing! All food came super fresh. We got free banchans too! It was a lovely tiny indoor space. The service was quick! They take cards for payment.

The food was fairly enjoyable. The problem with this place rests in the fact that they might have thieves within the workforce. A friend of mine forgot his wallet in the restaurant as he was tipping the waitress. I return asking for the wallet very politely. Second, I call. She recognizes it is me the gets frustrated…The shameful part is this time I am speaking with the head lady. She is questioning why I am calling again. My friend was sure the restaurant was the last place the wallet had been. I return for a third time and her to simply ask if I can have the wallet back, very politely, explaining this restaurant was the last place he had placed it because he tipped the woman then left and the wallet was left behind. Her tone and facial expressions were exact with a thief or a liar. (f.b.i. documentaries) shaking vegetables when I was calm, smurking me, answering me with answers I did not ask, and all I asked for was a wallet. I never mentioned anything about money then she tells me in Korean “my employees will always return money to the owner if ever overpayments happen.” Well, first of all, this must happen often. For that to be the first thing she has to say about searching for a wallet. When she said owner she might have been referring to herself which makes her a criminal not a thief.

Food was mediocre tasting and expensive for the portion size. We ordered the sea cucumber and abalone, black bean noodle, sweet and sour pork (tangsuyuk), and garlic chicken. Kimchee was good. Limited seating due to spacing. Waitresses were nice.

I understand why they got just 4.1 star even though their food is good, no complaint there, but on the other hand, some waitresses have a bad attitude. They were not being helpful to satisfy with customer.

Best jajangmyun in town. It’s al about the Chinese restaurants owned by Koreans. The dishes are epic and everything form the sweet and sour pork is ridiculous. We drive form Hawaii Kai or North Shore just to come here. Often imitated but never replicated. Trust Hunnerz Ko bloodline

This was my first visit because a co-worker said it’s a must. He ordered champon and I had the jajangmyeon and we shared an order of sweet sour pork. The food was very good though I wish my jajangmyeon sauce was hotter (temp-wise). The only real issue was the cost… $55 + tip. I guess inflation hits everyone.

If you want really good noodles, this is the place. The specialty is noodles with black bean sauce. This is a small, clean establishment with maybe 10 tables.Make sure to come early or be prepared for a short wait for a table.
