Cool atmosphere located in a nice area. Friendly and clean. VERY good prices; like surprisingly low – food and beer. Food was good, with a good selection of beer on tap. I will without a doubt go back any time I’m in Milwaukee!

We had a great experience at On Tap! We had a waiter who was only on his second day and he went above and beyond ensuring we had everything we needed! I ordered a drink but the bar tender wasn’t there yet, instead of cancelling the order or ordering something less complex, he looked up the recipe and made it for me! It was awesome! The food was also very good. We had the cheese curds, beet salad and the grilled cheese. All very good. Service was exceptional! Thanks so much for our experience as out of towners! We would definitely recommend this place!

So great to have something back in this fabulous space and be able to see nods to the old and nudges to the new. Fun, creative, and tasty twists on classic dishes which creates great tastes. First red flag was that it had more empty than full tables at dinner time on a Friday, but we decided to give it a try anyway. It is attached to our hotel (brewhouse inn and suites), and advertised as part of it. Food was ok, service was slow. We had to ask when for another beer when ours was empty for awhile.

I don’t normally like to leave a bad review but this was off thr charts. Where to start…there were 6 of us dining there. The place was pretty empty. Only 1 of us liked the meal. I had a $15 grilled cheese. I think it had 1 piece of cheese on it. It was dry and awful. I can make a better one myself with Kraft cheese. The wing sauce seemed diluted. Very thin and we could barely taste it. Chicken sandwich was very dry and not seasoned. The fries, while they seemed home made were very soggy. We had a tostada appetizer with rubbery meat and no flavor or plates or napkins…no one brought us napkins or silverware during the entire meal. My husband kept running to table up front to get more napkins. We sent food back twice and it took forever to get it replaced. Five of us were done eating when the last person finally got her plate of wings, which she just took home at that point. While the wait staff was friendly they seemed very confused. The manager gave us coupons for a free next meal to compensate us, however it expires in 1 week and we don’t live in the are so probably won’t even be able to use them. The atmosphere was great but that’s all. Worst meal and service I’ve ever had. We felt sorry for the waitress so still tipped her well.

Stopped by for lunch and, despite being pretty busy and very short staffed, had a pleasant experience. The bloody Mary is good. The fried mushrooms with truffle oil ranch were really good. Definitely order extra truffle oil ranch as the portioning of dip to dippable is not quite right.

Service was pretty non existent. They brought us curds we didn’t order. Wife’s burger said onions, not onion strings, which she can’t have, as they are fried in same oil as shrimp (allergy.) Manager acted like it was our fault. Regular onions do not equal fried onion strings. He said we were rude. Paid for my beer an we walked out.
