We arrived early – 4:30 – on a fish fry Friday. My stomach has been a bit queezy lately, so I enjoyed a ginger beer (pic). The service was fantastic, fish fry and potao pancakes, delicious, and prices are low to moderate! I’ve enjoyed a Southern Comfort Old Fashion last time, and it was perfect!! We sat at a low top overlooking the Neosho Millpond. This is a place that I’d like to keep as a secret because, as we left, cars began parking on the highway and there were no tables available!!

This was our 1st time visiting and surely won’t be our last. The pub had just emptied out from a large group of people prior to us going in. The tables were cleared and cleaned quickly. The service was prompt and the food was pretty tasty. My husband had the chicken Caesar wrap, I had a BYO burger and my daughter had a grilled cheese,all were served with plain potato chips and a pickle spear in a plastic basket. As we waited and ate our food there was a steady stream of bikers coming and going the whole time we were there. It is definitely a popular choice on a Saturday as a stop for many travelers! There is a fireplace and small group of games in an attached room that over looks the water,it’s a pretty view. As we were leaving a group of men were rebuilding the horseshoe pits. There are picnic tables for outdoor seating.

Was there three days ago on Sunday. The blonde bartender was sooooo unfriendly. Maybe 10 total in the place. Took a long time for food to arrive but we had time so that was ok. Lots of dead flies on the window sills. Wonder what other dead things are in the kitchen. The table was very sticky and had remnants of sauce on it. The bartender really needs to crack a smile once in a while and not give attitude and roll her eyes when simply asked “what’s on the pizza burger.”
