We came to one 53 because we live in the area and we wanted to try this restaurant for quite sometime. Google also had good reviews. The ambience is really cool. Reservation is highly recommended. The bar area is pretty nice. My husband got a Jameson and I got the Paper place. Aperol is my current favorite. Drinks were great! They also have huge wine list. We skipped the appetizer as the menu mostly had vegetarian or sea foodish apps. My husband does not eat sea food and since we would share the appetizer so we skipped it entirely. Some meat options in pork or beef or chicken would have been nice for the starter section.

Always great. Come earlier for a drink at their great bar they have a seasonally changing artisan menu. The room is small but it reminds you how lucky you are to be there. If the fried chicken is on the menu don’t miss out. Also, the short rib Cristini with the horseradish is a new favorite.

Have not been to this restaurant in many years and glad we tried it again. We were lucky to get seating in the back, which was much quieter. Our server was very knowledgeable and answered all questions, food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Very happy with this meal and would visit again.

Wowzers!! Talk about a hidden gem… this place is off the charts. We got 6 appetizers and everything was incredible. The sauce for the muscles is delicious. Foie gras was amazing. Shrimp in the garlic butter sauce was unreal. ❤️❤️

Went here for the first time last night with my husband and 2kids and it was 5 out of 5 -my husband can’t stop talking about it! We didn’t have reservations and when we drove up saw from the front that it was crowded, when pulling up to the valet we told them we didn’t have reservations and one ran inside and was able to get us a table down in the wine cellar. The wine cellar is SO cute! It’s small only 6 tables, but quaint and quiet. Our waiter was great-very attentive and infornative. The food and drinks were perfect, their fries are the best I’ve had. We even ended up having dessert- my husband and son shared the warm cookie with ice cream and I had the grilled pound cake ice cream sandwich- everything was SO delicious! We will definitely be back and be bringing everyone!

Unexpected Gem found in Rockyhill. The staff was busy but friendly and helpful. Reservation made weeks in advance gave us a choice of seating options. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Will definitely go back.

Has been a while since we have been to One 53. My appetizer of Mussels was seriously to die for and my wife and daughter were also very happy. Beautiful Tuna for mains as well as the fried Chicken. Still for me the best restaurant in greater Princeton!

Resturant itself is very fancy, high end establishment with prices and an menu to boot. Overall food however was just good, not mind blowing. While nothing was terrible I was expecting a bit more from a $44 fish entree. The one mixed drink we ordered was not good either – way too sour. Service was also annoyingly slow at times and our waitress took a while to bring menus, receipts, check in on us, etc. Certainly still a good place but for a restaurant that charges Michelin star prices the food and service is not there. Would still recommend it just for a upscale night out but temper expectations.
