I know this establishment has a long history and loyal customers, so I was excited to finally try it. You’ll have to try for yourself to see why the 2 star rating. We ordered the enchiladas special and the Strike Up The Band Chicken (teriyaki chicken) plate with onion rings. The food was not good, except for the honey butter that comes with the scone.

Fabulous food and a great atmosphere. I usually have only been to One Man Band in Lehi for breakfast. This was the first time for dinner and it was wonderful (Yes, I know I could order breakfast or dinner at any time of the day). I had the chicken wrap and it was tender, creamy, and delicious. The side salad was fresh, but it was a typical salad. The wrap I thought I would need some dressing or sauce to dip into, however, it was not needed. They add this parmesan dressing that adds flavor and makes everything in the wrap, including the very tender chicken, mesh together and taste wonderful. The place looks like an old fashioned diner and the way you place your order from your table with a telephone is always fun. The whole place just has a classic fun feel and is a pleasure to dine there.

I had the gringo burger. Burger meat was old and dry. Chili con Carne and peppers from the can – no go. Only the fries were good. It’s a self service place. Orders only taken by an old style phone at the table – connection was not good. The place looks like it hasn’t been modified since the 70ies. Overall a disappointment.

Love this place. Food is good and just like mama makes. Fun 50s vibe where you order your food over the phone, you go to the counter and pick up. We’ve been going here a long time. It literally used to be 1 person doing everything. Now there’s about 3. It’s fun. Breakfast served all day.

Good food but too loud and chaotic. Order and serving system is cute not effective. You order by picking up a phone on the travels to call and place your order; fun birthday connecting I’d very crackly and hard to hear. Then you have to go pick up the good at the counter and decipher all the plates and figure out how to carry them. Doubt we’ll go back.

I have just spent 3 days on work in Nephi Utah. I have eaten at 3 different places, and they couldn’t be more different. Being from the Midwest, I do love my country fried steak, and I am a sucker for breakfast more than any other meal. I ate at a place last night everyone recommended, and I wasn’t impressed, I had country fried steak and spent over $40 for diner by myself. I found this place and saw they did breakfast for dinner and the same steak again. The place was clean, it is a diner, and the service was fast, well organized. I just wanted to get in and out. The meal I purchased was the Hungry Hank’s. Country fried steak, (yes I just typed it again) hash browns, eggs, and biscuits and gravy. Like all my favorite comfort foods! This was perfect. the eggs were done to perfection, the steak was crispy, and the gravy perfect also. I like Tabasco on all of it, and it worked as I didn’t have to substitute for Cholula. Even had tea on the dispenser. The whole meal, just a mite over $15. I have more work here soon, I will be eating here more often as I pass through. Skip the town restaurants, just come here.

The food was okay. Not bad, not great. It is a diner, so expect diner food. The issue we had was accessibility for power wheelchairs….not ADA accessible. You can get in and out of the diner, but the tables inside are not accessible to wheelchairs. My husband (in the wheelchair) had to sit at the end of a booth….this blocks access for any other patrons (fire hazard). I had to scoot in backwards on the booth seat. In a few years, I will not be physically able to do that anymore. There was no assistance or service of food to the table, so I had to scoot in and out awkwardly anytime I needed to pick up anything. Not recommended for individuals with power wheelchairs.

This was a unique experience. You seat yourself at an open table, look over the menu, and then each table has a little red phone…. you pick it up and when they answer you quickly give your order. Once your order is ready a buzzer at your table goes off so you know to head up to the counter to pay for and get your order. A neat experience.
