Receptionist was very nice and prompt. The atmosphere was hip and modern. Loved it. Waitress was ok. Menu selection was wide enough for most people’s tastes. I had 2 of their crafted cocktails and they didn’t disappoint. Main course was the smash burger and it was very good. Quite flavorful. Dessert was the brownie with peanut butter ice cream….wow. What a great combination! Prices were very reasonable. I definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

My wife and I were in Grand Rapids for a show at the intersection. We stopped at One Twenty Three beforehand to get something to eat. I was very impressed with the interior design. There was a raw edge table in the center of the room and very fancy high back chairs at some of the tables. I’m not usually into poorly lit restaurants but the ambience seemed to fit. Our server was quick and friendly. There seemed to be a lax professionalism that made me feel more comfortable for a higher end restaurant. Food was superb. They were unfortunately out of the patties for the one twenty three burger but we were able to substitute it with the smash burger patty. I would say overall a good experience.

I am always looking for interesting places to eat lunch when I am traveling. One Twenty Three Tavern is in Downtown Grand Rapids and was pretty good. I had the po boy whitefish sandwich and chips. It was not really a po boy sandwich, more of just a fish sandwich, but it was good. They did not have an extensive menu, but the burgers were good as well. The waitress said they are known for their smashburgers. I really liked the atmosphere it is really nice inside a very welcoming place to eat. The service was not the best, but it is worth checking out for lunch in you are in the area.

Great happy hour! Food and drink specials. It was also a burger and a beer night, which we were able to combine with happy hour. Smash burger was very tasty as well as the BlackBerry bourbon sour cocktail! They also validate parking if you park in the adjacent ramp. Great experience, we will definitely be back!

5 of us went out to lunch and gave 123 a try. Wow we’re we impressed! The smash burger was absolutely amazing! And that comes from 4 is is that ordered it. I washed it down with an ice cold Hazy IPA. Reasonably priced. We will be back!!

Enjoyed this spot immensely. It was fairly quiet at 3pm. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Waiter was great, seating comfortable and place appears clean. Food and drinks were great. I had a southern burger, and fries. Additionally had the Golden Child drink and carrot cake for dessert. The carrot cake was just OK. Everything else stellar.

This place is such a gem! The ambiance is perfect, the music is not too loud and the sound damping lets you have a normal volume level conversation without having to compete with the next table. Our server was on our same wavelength and recommended dishes we had already eyed up on the menu. I thought the low price surpassed the expectations for this level of dining experience. French dip is totally amazing!
