From the outside you wouldn’t think you’re going into a super nice Japanese grill and bar. But once you’re inside and see the show and taste the food, you will be hooked for sure. I give it a 5 star mainly because of chef that served us. He was super fantastic.

Very impressed with the effectiveness and kindness of the staff. The place is a little dated on the inside and outside but that just lets you focus on the food. Food was beyond expectations. Even the rice was flavorful. And the portions are big enough to fill you but small enough to let you try everything in your plate. The sushi was great. I’ve only tried sushi one time before this and this place made me live sushi. I tried the California roll and a fried shrimp one. Both very good and well made. It was also clean and easy to find.

What I love about this place are the sashimi deluxe and the daily special roll. The sashimi is a large portion that is very reasonably priced and perfect to split with someone if you also share a roll or two. Very family friendly. I don’t love the fried rolls and the choices of raw fish is limited to what they of course sell well. So not a huge selection, but it is a great treat to be able to eat such good quality fresh cut and large slices of Sashimi without paying an arm and a leg.

If I had to rate this restaurant base on the way it looks from the outside to the inside I would give them a one star. If you ever see the place you will no what I mean its not a great looking place at all ,but the food is really good and the service is awesome

The service was great! The food was hot and good. I know the building is a little dated, but people really need to give Ono a chance. The Godzilla roll was yummy, and the scallops were cooked to perfection. One thing I wish was the sauce that they put on the meat wasn’t put on every meat we ordered.
