Not a bad Hawaiian plate lunch. I ordered the pretty standard Katsu and Kalua pork combo. The mac is on point and the rice is solid but was a bit disappointed with the super thin cuts of chicken for the katsu. So thin it was easy to miss out on the chicken under all that katsu batter. Still, very tasty crust and cooked just right. Kalua pork is good, very tender and juicy. Overall a nice place to find some quick Hawaiian grinds for a reasonable $15 all together with a drink. Only other thing that bothered me was the lack of a loco moco on the menu!!

First time here and were highly impressed with the food. We were looking for a simple and good plate lunch place, and found it at Ono. The service was quick and professional, the dining room was clean with a neat condiment area, and employee was also sweeping and wiping down tables during the lunch period. Our meals were fresh and tasted yummy. The katsu was lightly fried and not oily. The chicken teriyaki tasted delicious. We will be back.

What amazing service. I took 10 teenagers to tha Tempe AZ location. The lobby was closed so we had to go through the drive through. My students were starving and options were very limited.

Had the bbq chicken before, pretty good, decided to order the white fish and bbq chicken plate to try. The fish was soggy and literally undercooked, I waited 10 min for it. They remade it, took another 10 min. Didn’t even have time to sit down and eat there. I see them make like 15 plates before mine comes out, I guess never order the fish or something. Take it off the menu if it’s that hard to make.

On a Sat around 4pm, fast service. Hawaiian bbq chicken plate was a huge portion for $11.79 (+.25 for subbing mac for mix salad). Chicken is tasty and spam musubi was fresh and also good.

So happy Ono is finally open. We decided to grab a quick dinner there before Thanksgiving. I like that they offer Mini Meals, especially as I knew I would be eating a lot the next day. I went with the Mini Chicken Katsu, which is just the perfect amount of food. The Husband went with the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Aloha Plate. We are big fans of Hawaiian food. The only disappointment is they don’t have POG or Dole Whip, otherwise no complaints. We can’t wait to go back.
