Food and service was amazing every time I’d dine in or take out. My favorite is the BBQ mix plate, and a side of Spam musubi. I also love their macaroni salad and the fact that each plate comes with a good amount of veggies/cabbage. We will definitely come back.

06/17/23 (12:30pm) I called in to ask for all rice (no macoroni) on my fish plate that I ordered through Door Dash. The young guy who answered the phone told me that my Door Dash order had not showed up in their system yet. So I told him I would call back because I needed to make a slight alteration to my order. 7mins passed, I call back and was told my order was already picked up, and the original guy who answer the phone was a new guy, so he probably was confused or something. So I cancel my original order because my Son has allergic reaction to the Macoroni salad and re-placed the same again at the same location. This time I figured I’ll call and ask to speak to a Manager and just simply explain that I ordered a fish plate and could he just make it with all rice whenever it shows up in their system. His English was a bit rough as well as his understanding of English. He told me it was loud and could barely hear me, but I was in a super quiet room with nothing but a ceiling fan on. I tried to explain but he kept talking over me and finally just hung up in my face. This was very rude of him and I’ll make certain me and my family will ever spend another dime there.

Ordered the Island Fire Chicken meal here at Ono Hawaiian BBQ. Tasted great. This meal also included rice and macaroni salad, with some vegetables under the island fire chicken. Didn’t take here very long to order or receive my food.

Order food to go took longer than I wanted for the food to come but they were busy. The only problem with having to wait the extra time was that I now had to walk to crumbi cookie for dessert l. Food was fresh. Would come back again.

The staff is great here. For some reason door dash doesn’t include the option to get extra sauces so I’ve made a habit of calling the store to request they put extra in my order and they’re always so friendly and kind. They’ve even gone as far to include a little thank you note for calling them. Thanks you guys for being so great!

Overall a good place to eat but I will say the last time we went it was obviously rushed. My husband got sick for a whole week from it but I didn’t. We’ve been there multiple times when it’s about 30 minutes from close and this has only happened once, they sometimes give you a bit of attitude when you order but it also closes at 9 so in my opinion that’s a little early . I would say if it’s that big of a deal to order 30 minutes from close you should stop taking orders a little earlier.
