So thankful the Bures family made this recommendation, because after a long morning picking strawberries I was feeling kinda hangry. Ope is a fantastic local find! They have a good selection of seltzers, creative and juicy burgers and appetizers that are hard to choose from. It was so nice to have such an awesome local hangout open on a Monday for lunch!I can’t wait to come back! Don’t forget to pick up your Ope gear on the way out.

Ope! Haus Pub was a complete surprise. I saw it on Google maps and rolled the dice. I’m so glad I did. I was traveling with some friends visiting from Munich, Germany. We were greeted and seated immediately by a kind and friendly employee. What came next was magic. We all ordered the Ope! burger. It was – and this is not hyperbole -THE best burger I have eaten in my life. The fresh, local beef was the star of the show, backed up by supporting actors of beer cheese sauce, cheese curds, locally sourced bacon, caramelized onions, and a delicious pretzel bun. The flavor of the beef was unparalleled. It was so completely obvious how fresh it was and how rich it was. The rest of the flavors mixed and mingled, none overpowering the others. Balance. Precision. Delicacy. It was truly the best I’ve ever eaten.

The Ope Burger was probably the best burger we ever had. We all ordered that burger because it already sounded so tasty on the menu. The fries were crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the inside. The service was great. We also had poutine for the first time and the gravy was really rich so the fries were not soaked all the way trough. So if you consider going there, stop considering and just go. You won’t regret it.

Very nice spot to have a meal. We enjoyed our meals, substituted chicken for hamburger on one meal and enjoyed a nice grilled chicken sandwich. Service was top notch and staff attentive. Very nice job by the staff. Open kitchen area seems to work, plenty of tables and space to accommodate a larger group. Will go back as it’s a beautiful drive out there if you get off the highway and be adventurous to take some back roads!

Thought we would be walking into any old pub and grill but the food menu and dietary accommodations were impressive. Came in with a group of six last minute and were treated very well with all of our various (sometimes rather difficult restrictions) being met! Love the fish fry and old fashioned.
