Taro bun on the ahi and kalua pork sandwich was ok but overall pretty good. Was a quick lunch before entering the Waimea valley area

Don’t care about the food or atmosphere. If a PB&J sandwich takes 30+ mins, something is dysfunctional. Only reason why this place may be operational is the monopoly status it has at the Waimea Falls.

Located within Waimea Valley, this place has the best fries I have ever had. Hurricane fries for $7. I’m in love with them. They stay crispy even after a couple of hours. I crave them every day. The musubi is only $3 too and it’s very good.

I had a cheese burger with fries and my husband had the Hawaiian burger with fries. It was pretty good and the prices weren’t too bad. We had to keep asking for ketchup because they gave us 3 packets to share between the 2 of us. Tables were very dirty and needed attention but no one took care of them even after it was brought to their attention.

This is a simple walk up window with outdoor seating in a botanical garden setting. I expected to be disappointed by overpriced low quality fast food, but everything (kobe burger, hot dog, hurricane fries with cheese and furikake) was very good, and I was blown away by the kalua pork sandwich. This sandwich is truly a masterpiece. I have to say, presentation-wise it’s probably the prettiest sandwich I’ve ever ordered. It comes on a soft taro bun, which is of course bright purple inside the crust. That purple bread holds a full portion of juicy meat, reddish pink pickled ginger, bright leafy greens, and charred golden pineapple. It was an overwhelming palette of edible color and I have to say I would be incredibly proud to have made something so beautiful that’s delicious as well.

2 rude, heavy set , women with color served our food. Racist and loves company with their misery. ‍♀️
