Quality meat and the Tortas were good. This would also be my pick for romantic and or first date as it just has a romantic little village in Mexico vibe. If I had to be nit picky I would point out there is not a lot of seating but the outside seating would be very nice at night.

Went for the first time today for lunch with my toddler. The food was absolutely delicious, cooked fresh, had beautiful presentation, and was very reasonably priced. (We got chicken enchiladas with mole, which came with rice and beans.) The staff was also very friendly and accommodating, and they even put Baby Einstein on the TV for my son to watch. We were there shortly after they opened, and it seemed like just the 2 kitchen staff were helping us until a couple other staff arrived later. I only gave 4 stars because the tables weren’t quite clean and there were boxes on a couple tables, like they weren’t prepared for people to dine in. It also was rather warm inside on this hot summer day – seems like no A/C. We will definitely return, though maybe just for take out next time.

Nice little quaint spot in hamden. We were greeted by a nice young lady who sat us and gave us menus. They were out of Margarita mix so we had soda…they were also out of ice. I was ready to go at that point but decided to give the food a try. Very fresh ingredients and nice portions! The fajitas come out sizzling on cast iron plate, great plating as well. It lacked something in the seasoning. The soup was amazing and it hit the spot! It was needed because it was chilly inside. Also seem to have ventilation issues as they were cooking it got smokey and they opened the front door!!! More cold air!!! It was a decent lunch just can’t enjoy my meal if I am not comfortable!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in CT! The food is fresh and authentic, the service is spectacular, and every time I go back I notice something new – they’re always putting money and effort back into the restaurant. I drive almost an hour just to eat here!

Food is okay for price but beware they cross contaminate. I don’t eat meat and asked for a veggie burrito which has shreds of meat mixed in with the beans. 🙁

I just stopped in there and it was fantastic. I had the pork tacos and they had a pleasant flavor with a light green sauce. So good! The staff were friendly and easy on the eyes.

I went to CT to visit some family and we stopped by to grab a bite and we were so lucky to find this gem of a spot. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food was out of this world. I was craving enchiladas but wasn’t sure if to get green sauce or mole sauce and they mixed both ! How nice of them. We also had some fresh guacamole and chips and a few mixed tacos, shrimp, steak and al pastor which were also so delicious ! My bf had an horchata and I had a Jamaica drink. It was so good, we devoured it we forgot to take more pics LOL. I will definitely be back to try some more dishes ! Best Mexican food in Connecticut!

Unbelievablely incredibly delicious food!!!!! Fresh, authentic and prepared to perfection! I haven’t been this impressed with any local restaurant as much as O’rale in a very long time. Go there! Prices are also very fare. I wish I had found this place sooner.

First time trying this place and I wasn’t disappointed. Carinitas tacos were juicy and tasty. This place is more of a to go place, not really a sit down and order restaurant. But I hope they do well enough to be able to move to a bigger place some day.
