I went to this place with a friend about 2 weeks ago. We wanted to try something new.. I will say the restaurant and vibes are nice but the food isn’t so much. It’s just okay, nothing too special especially for the prices. We got the spring rolls as appetizer and they were good. As for Entrées we got the curried fish, this one was good. We asked for their salt & pepper fried shrimp and it was not good at all, we ended up asking for a replacement as the shrimp had a very odd taste. Instead of this, we got their lobster tail entree which was also okay.. we asked for sushi and we never gotten it. The drinks were okay.

The recent visit to “Of Rice and Men” left me feeling extremely disappointed with the new menu they’ve introduced. The charm that once defined this restaurant seems to have vanished with the changes. The new menu lacks the diversity and creativity that I had come to expect. The dishes were mediocre at best, and the flavors were rather underwhelming. It’s disheartening to witness a restaurant with such potential fall short on delivering a satisfying dining experience.

Review is a bit late but this spot is Flavor town! It is kinda hidden and you have to take the stairs down into the restaurant but it is definitely top 3 in my book on main Street. The duck fried rice, sushi, waygu, appetizers all just amazing. To me the unsung hero and super underrated beef udon noodles just put me into flavor heaven. I like this place so much I get mad they only open in the evenings. I will visit this place more often.

Great experience. Service was wonderful and food was delicious! The happy hour here is amazing and you can get so many of the appetizers, dim sum, and sushi on the HH menu for a fraction of the price.

This place is phenomenal! The peking duck was an absolute credit to the chef. We loved all the tasty apps and extras as well as the excellent cocktails. Cannot wait to try more dishes here and explore the menu!!
