On a recent trip to Anaheim, one of my family members suggested we visit the Packing District. Upon entering the building, we were surrounded by a multitude of dining options! We all split up to grab a bite and I ended up choosing Orange Tei! I made this choice because I was craving sushi. I also love shrimp tempura and it was on the menu as well. The Orange Tei team member was super friendly and attentive and placed our order quickly. The sushi was very fresh and delicious and the shrimp tempura was perfect! I really enjoyed my lunch!

If you’re looking for a sushi experience that’s both delicious and affordable, look no further than Orange Tei at the Anaheim Packing House. Their new hand roll bar is a fantastic addition to the already-impressive menu.

I love the packing district so we had to try the ramen. I was really excited to try the tonkotsu ramen here, which is the only kind of ramen I will typically eat due to the richness of the pork broth and the tender pork belly or loin. While the noodles we’re alright, the both was far too oily instead of fatty, and it had a significant aroma of fish which I am not accustomed to in tonkotsu, except for the occasional fishcake topping which was not present. The pork slices we’re quite dry despite the oily broth. My girlfriend refused to eat any past the first bite, I made it halfway through. I unfortunately do not recommend.

This place is amazing. I love the ramen it’s fantastic. It’s only $11 which is good in my book. They also have a vegtarian ramen which is GREAT for my vegetarian friend. I always go to this place whenever I go to the packing house. 4 stars cause an other friend of mine knows of a better place to get cheaper sushi down the street. But that place does not have good ramen.

Decent sushi. I felt like there was lots of other stuff on the plate to distract you from the thin pieces of fish atop the plate I ordered. Service was ok, but not very . . . . warm? Good kick to the spicy rolls though. I’d probably try a different restaurant at the Packing District next time though.

Overall fresh poke, I’ve read that the service is bad. But my experience is not the same. The women behind the counter was good to recommend me couple of stuff i haven’t try. I got a large to split with two people which was enough for us.

I was hoping to get something good. The karaage was so juicy and hot, that’s the only reason I gave a three star. The ramen was so salty you couldn’t tell it was pork broth, noodles were overcooked yet soft, and the pork pieces were well overdone. If I do come back here I’ll only be getting appetizets.

Ramen and sushi both taste good.

The presentation of the ramen is nice but the ramen here is terrible. The soup has a thick layer of oil overtop that has no flavor and the broth tastes nothing like shoyu or tonkatsu.

Finally they offer a vegetarian option! The only reason it’s not vegan is the noodles I contain egg.
