Checked this place out with family members from out-of-town after it received some online popularity. It took us 45 minutes to drive to this location from where we live and we arrived before they opened to avoid a long wait. I was disappointed to find out that the BBQ meat was not available to purchase because we were too early! Since we were already there, we ordered what was available. Upon taking her first bite my mom asked “What province are they from?” It was a weird question until I tried the food myself. It’s…different. The Filipino food our family is used to is more savory and isn’t overly sweet. The couple who runs this place are very welcoming, sweet and kind. However, with the inability to try any of their BBQ, the taste of the food, and the overpricing, I doubt I’ll ever be back.

While the food tastes great, ordering for catering was a horrible experience. Day off they asked me to pick up the food bc they were “busy”! Even though I requested and paid for delivery a month and half prior to my event. I messaged them and called when they didn’t show at the time I requested delivery. After a couple hours of attempting to reach them they showed up late to deliver the food. Most stressful catering I’ve ever experienced. I will never order from them again.

Authentic Filipino cuisine! You would feel like you’re home in the Philippines when you’re here. They have wonderful customer service and they treat their customers like family. We love coming here with family and friends and enjoy eating outdoors. Tables are spread apart for social distancing! The BEST isaw, bopis, sisig, pork BBQ, and GRILLED SQUID I’ve ever had! Their ube-flan and ube puto-flan are VERY GOOD too! They also have karaoke which makes the visit super fun! We love coming here for the food and experience!

Have been wanting to try this place for a long time, my husband and I finally made it and we enjoyed every part of it from the service to the food and the atmosphere. Although we got there a little late and didnt get a chance to try the lechon almost everything we had was great. We ordered the Pancit, Dinuguan, Pinakbet, seafood medley, chicken bbq, grilled fish and the pork adobo with rice. Everything we had was great, although I didn’t care for the dinuguan there was something in it that I didn’t really care for and I think it was star anise but I am not totally sure other than that the food was great. We also ordered the banana que and buko pandan for dessert, both were really yummy. My husband and I really enjoyed our food and the time we spent there the atmosphere was great, yes there are flies but that’s normally what you get when you are outdoors having a meal. I am not sure how that falls on the establishment and how others can complain about that as it comes with the territory of eating outdoors. Anyway, the owners or people that were working were really nice very welcoming. Being there reminded my husband and I of being back home in Hawaii and going to a get together with family or friends and hanging out in the backyard with great company and awesome food. They have a Karaoke system set up and a competition that they offer, you can sing any song the you want and if you score 90+ points you get free ice cream, makes the experience fun and entertaining. If you love Filipino food and hanging out with great people you should definitely give this place a try and make sure to get there early for the lechon. We will definitely be back to try the lechon. Thank you for the great food and awesome backyard feeling experience!

Being Filipino, it makes me proud to see my fellow country men sharing our dishes to the world. Mike Chen’s youtube video added an extra spotlight to this lechon/bbq restaurant in the middle of nowhere in Texas. So you better check out their FB page “ORC Filipino Asian/American BBQ” and pre-order since they sell out fast. It’s a fun experience. They offer bbq, lechon(roasted pork), caldareta, grilled squid, and many types of desserts. We managed to grab the head and sticky purple rice dessert.

A Filipino ma and pa stand turned kitchen in the middle of nowhere is the Diamond in the rough so close to lake Levon in Princeton, TX. My wife and I were visiting the area and were looking for something good to eat. My wife being pinay spotted this little joint on the map and we immediately made our way over. We came around maybe 11:45 and were quickly greeted by the owner’s son and he walked us through the dishes being offered. Lots of yummy traditional Filipino classics and even a few street food options, not excluding the most sought after… lechon. The place gets pretty busy after 12 for their lunch rush (I don’t know where people come from). They are a pretty small business, but they grow their own produce in the more producing months of the year and hand prep and cook everything right in front of you. Delicious

This place has become famous due to YouTube and an article in the Dallas news. BUT, the taste of the food is not that great. There are tastier Filipino places in the Plano area. The lechon was a HUGE disappointment. It had 0 taste. It needed more salt, seasoning, garlic, whatever. $20/ pound felt like I got ripped off.

Exceptional. I haven’t had a lot of Filipino food am and not sure what exactly some of the dishes were, but they were all delicious. The lechon was amazing–perfectly juicy, crispy skin, and very well seasoned, and being prepared right there in front of you. The people running it were very warm and friendly, and it was a unique and cool vibe–a Filipino flea market community in rural Texas. Will be back for sure.

The owners were welcoming, I felt like I was back home sa Philippines. I can say it wasn’t much Pero parang it’s enough to feel like HOME. Good Christian couple. They were welcoming to my American friends. I had bad experiences with some Filipino restaurants ( not going to mention a name pero Plano!) if you want simple and judgement free Filipino home cook style food… HETO NA SYA! Mabuhay and GOD BLESS TO ALL!
