Ugh I love this place. Situated in downtown Kent, this restaurant is so cozy and the outdoor patio is probably my favorite in the state. I love that their menu changes seasonally and the ingredients are fresh and locally-sourced. I highly recommend the cheese platter. I can never decide between pizza or an entree so we often order both and share lol. The waitstaff is always so kind and patient – and unpretentious! I know we can always come here to eat well, relax, and enjoy ourselves.

It’s a bit oversold. Slow service. Half the menu is pizza…and on the day of our visit, they were out of pizza dough. That was fine as it forced us to order something else. The touted burger and fried chicken sandwich were just ok and a bit overpriced. We wanted to split them as well, and our waiter said that would ruin the presentation, which wasn’t much anyway. Upon leaving, another waiter’s table had the chicken sandwich split for them – I guess our waiter couldn’t be bothered. You always hope to find one of these quaint out of the way places that will blow you away. This wasn’t it.

As an Italian, it’s very hard to find such an amazing pizza as the one I just had @ Swift! My husband had an amazing lamb rack. This place is fabulous! As an interior designer I also appreciate the design and the whole vibe! The staff is super professional and friendly! Happy we just discovered it, looking forward to be back soon!

This company was the best I ever worked for. I ran out of money hiking the AT, and they came through for me. Wallet got stolen in front of the bookstore, but they still got me home. Precovid. I hope you all are doing great still, greatest crew I’ve ever worked with, management especially. 5 stars all day. Love ya guys!!!

I had read so many good things about the ingredients in the pizza was some of the best around: best sauce from Italy, locally fermented flour for the dough, fresh pulled cheese, that I had to make the trek to taste the pizza! The restaurant itself is nicely renovated so kudos for fixing it up. The bar is very appealing, albeit small, yet causal and cozy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the cocktails are superb. Back to the pizza. I have personally reviewed 100’s of pizzas throughout the states, and this pizza was just OK. If you are going to use a wood fired oven, make sure that you have good char on the bottom of the pizza, not just the top. The ingredients are not bad, but not anything that extraordinary especially after all the work that goes into fermenting the dough, pulling the cheese etc… Go back to the basics, and get good flour from Naples, add some flavor to your sauce and make it extraordinary – a little garlic goes a long way. Add some salt and olive oil to the dough, cook the pizza longer, and voila you will have a very good pizza. Try experimenting with the basics and good luck as practice makes the best pizzaiolos!

The FOH staff was amazing. The hamburger is insanely sweet though and I’m not sure what sauce is creating such a sugary taste. Also, they asked if I wanted pink or not which would be great if executed properly. I asked for no pink, however, and got a raw burger barely browned on the outside. Hopefully this was just a fluke.

Beautiful service, location, and food. I can’t speak about consistency because I’ve only visited once, but we were able to try an array of dishes on that one visit.

I hate doing this because it makes it harder for me to book a reservation in the future. Game Theory in action.
