Oriental Palace has always been one of my favorite restaurants around. I had a bad experience 6 months ago and thought I would never go back. Today I decided to give them another chance and placed an order. I was told 35 minutes and arrived after 40. I called to let them know I had arrived and was told that they would be right out. Ten minutes later I called because they had not come out and the girl asked if my order was ready. I heard someone say it was almost ready and she politely informed me. After waiting 50 minutes total with no other orders waiting, I told them to keep their food and I left

Didn’t blow my expectations but the plate I ordered to go was good. I ate all of it. Either I was too hungry or the serving was smaller than other comparable restaurants. They have great daily specials. Vegetables are always fresh. My favorite special is Monday: Almond Chicken with an egg roll. It’s very delicious. FYI, After my initial review I noticed they are serving a little more food than before.

Take out only place for the last few months. Call in your order and wait 20 or so minutes. We get the special. Have liked all the dishes we’ve ordered. Friendly staff even if short staffed.

This is a very nice little hidden place. It’s a seat yourself place and that’s what I did when I arrived. There was what appeared to be the owner at the front when I entered and sat down. I sat there while the owner walked around looking for something and never acknowledge my presence. She then disappeared into the back and about 5 minutes later a young lady the waitress comes from the kitchen area and says she will be right with me. I’m not one for complaining but any staff member should greet everyone who walks thru the the door. I did order my regular chicken chow mein and it was very good. But the fact that I was completely ignored for the first ten minutes while in this restaurant makes me not want to go there again which I don’t think I will.

We ordered take out last night from the Oriental Palace it was simply horrible. My husband ordered chicken with plum sauce no sauce or chicken. No chicken or plum sauce the white rice was about a 1/4 of the containers full. I order #34 combinations plate that had about half the plate full. Fried Wonton only one sweet sour chicken four nuggets my chi main was maybe a couple of spoonfuls. No egg roll which needed to be included. Rice maybe a spoonful one ball. I will never go back to this restaurant if you order out check your plates before you pay. I sure do miss the “Chinese Kitchen restaurant “.
