This has been the best tasting ramen I’ve had since moving to Phoenix! I got the Classic w/ chicken & The broth has the perfect flavor & creaminess. It’s a smaller place with a cute atmosphere, the staff is very friendly. I only give 4 stars for service since there are no physical menus & you order via QR code (which Im not a fan of) & you are still asked to pay a tip. I plan to try the spicy ramen next.

The karaage was good nice consistency and tasty! The sweet miso pork rice bowl was also pretty good and the little gingers added to it. But the spicy miso ramen was odd and tasted almost “chemically” and we couldn’t even take more than one bite without having to return it and exchange it for a different ramen. We got the sweet miso ramen and that one was okay too! No chemical taste to it. But nothing to write home about! I’ve had miso ramen before so I know for sure it wasn’t supposed to have that chemical consistency.

Tried the Origami ramen bar in Ahwatukee today. The walls inside are filled with anime pictures. Based on server suggestions I went for “Super hot” ramen with Chicken and Japanese chicken for appetizers. They did really ramp the spice level in “super hot” whereas the “spicy” was quite mild. The super hot ramen was loaded with chili flakes and chilli oil. They need to introduce an intermediate “hot” for the perfect level of spiciness where you can also get the broth flavor. The Japanese chicken was amazing and I recommend it along with ramen. Overall loved the place and would be coming in for more.

They have good ramen here. I have several tried several types and they are all good. The Tokyo Shoyu is delicious. This one is the clear broth one. The black soy is pretty good also. I like the fact you can order with a qr-code and the food just comes out. The only down side about that is you have to get you own water and there are pretty much no service. We always tip well. The big question is…. do you have to tip when we have to go get our own water?

It’s nice and food is really good but the ordering process is still not conveniently located. Still have to scan barcode and then go up to counter to order instead of with waitress/host. You serve yourself water and tea from the drink setup.
