So, I went in to get subs for my Dad and myself, as we’ve been downtown visiting my Mom in the hospital. There were none in the cooler (as the store was closing early due to a remodel). The woman behind the counter was so pleasant and understanding. She took time to make some subs for us, the owner was also very understanding. When I thanked both of them, the response was “not a problem”. AWESOME!!!!

I’m sure this place is a local favorite. My experience is much different than other people who have given more stars for a rating. Non Accurate Description (Price) given of item ordered. Terrible representation (owner or employee….couldn’t tell. He acted like he was in charge.) of what customer service should be. I explained to whomever I ordered from that I had $20 to spend on a pizza. I was told what I was ordering was going to be $14.99. When arriving to pick up my order I was told it was $21.99. + Tax. I questioned the price in Confusion. I explained what I was told over the phone. Immediately I was met with an aggressive tone in response. I PAID ANYWAY. I figured okay maybe this is what inflation has done. I was supposed to be getting a pizza with double pepperoni and double chz. I return with my pizza and upon opening was very disappointed. The pizza did not have extra chz, not did it have the amount of pepperoni you would expect for a DOUBLE topping. Honestly, I am not worried about the money. I am the kind of person who will literally order a $50 steak for the quality and atmosphere that goes with it. Some may love this place, but I know that will never see a dime of my money again. Poor treatment of a customer and definitely not giving you what you pay for. Good luck Original Buscemi’s.
