Told my wife, “we need something spicy for dinner tonight” and as she leered, I corrected her assumption with a “I mean for food!”. Jokes aside, We settled in trying Original cuisine and ordering takeout. Overall, the food was mostly flavorful, we ended up ordering the chongqing spicy fried chicken, dumplings with chili sauce and “delicious” fried rice. The main standout was the dumplings and highly recommend them. The fried rice was Ok at best, but made a good combination for the spicy fried chicken. just note white rice would of done just as much for less of a cost. Although we did not dine in, the restaurant looked clean, the pickup process was straight forward, and staff was nice.

The food is SO SO yummy here. I’d recommend the spicy crispy chicken if it’s your first time here. Every time we come, we order 3-4 dishes and it’s more than enough for 2-3 people to share. All the flavors here are spicy, sour and savory, if those are your favorites trio then you’ll have to visit this place.

My favorite local Chinese spot in Arizona. This restaurant has truly authentic Szechuan cuisine. The flavors are explosive and the portions are amazing for what you pay for. Most of the time, Chinese restaurants in Arizona scale back on the spice and seasoning to cater to Western demographics, but Original Cuisine did not disappoint. I’ve had their fried chicken, dry pot, boiled fish, fried rice, and dumplings. Every single dish was amazing.

I went to check out the Original Cuisine restaurant today and this place wowed me. We ordered Changqing Spicy Chicken, Eggplant with Sweet and Sour Sauce, and Cauliflower Dry Pot. Everything tasted so good! Definitely will come back for more! Fair price too. 🙂
