Amazing food, very well priced, and excellent service. The ambiance is lively with great Mexican music playing. We enjoyed the Cornish Hen (cordoniz) and Puffy Taco dinner plate.

This is truly a cornerstone of FW history. It is a must-go to while you still can. My grandparents came here, my parents while they dated in the 1960s, I came here as a child, my husband and I came here as we dated and now I have brought my children here. Just walking in the door the sights and smells bring me right back to when I first walked in. The food is the same, just as delicious and just as heart-warming. I hate that I can’t share this tradition with my grandchildren. I hope that as they move, they continue to put their love into the food as they do everything at this location.

Enchiladas were crisp I ordered cheese enchiladas double rice I will say the chips and salsa are very close to El Rancho grande recipe flour tortillas I was not fond of. I went to El Rancho grande for years and the recipe is supposed to be the same and I can see that it is not and prices are way high. The service was fair. The waitress was an older person and was not prompt on our table.

This place isn’t impressive. We had good service and the atmosphere is okay. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and they are probably the worst ones I’ve ever had. The tortilla was tough and the chicken overcooked. The margs were also very below average and put in plastic cups. The prices here were much higher than the quality of food we received so we were disappointed for sure. 1 and done for us.

Fantastic place! Really the only restaurant I go to for Mexican or Tex-mex any more. The chips and salsa are great, the enchiladas are always delicious, and the chicken is grilled to perfection! The new location is very pleasant!
