They were so gracious and accommodating. I love our waitress, Patti. She was amazing. We had someone in our party that was vegan and they went above and beyond to prepare a wonderful meal for them. The restaurant was clean with a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. I only wish we lived closer to become regulars.

Me and my husband have been to the orta in pembroke and have enjoyed the food so we expected good things. However… We got takeout…the mushroom flat bread and pasta and meatballs. The flat bread literaly had like 8 tiny pieces of mushroom on it. The flatbread itself was thin, hard, and cold. And you could barely taste the truffle oil. We opened it and literally were speechless. The pasta and sauce was something that tasted like it was from a sub shop. The sauce tasted like raw tomato and water. No sauce stuck to our pasta and the portion size was NOTHING. The only reason I’m giving this two stars is because the meatball was good. Needless to say we are super disappointed. Absolutely not worth the money we spent.

Was there last night (VALENTINE’S Day). We had a reservation so really no wait. Food was delicious I had mussels on a saffron broth wow. Then I had seared tuna with sticky rice and baby bock choy, everything was cooked to perfection.The service was great, the atmosphere perfect for an intimate dinner. Would definitely recommend. Next time it will be pizza.

We love fine dining and don’t often venture into Boston any longer. What a joy to have Orta so close to us! We are never disappointed by any aspect of our visit. We can choose to dine–linger over our drinks–or come in for a relaxing but brief stay. The food is ALWAYS superb and the service typically excellent. We visited again last night and nothing has changed. The owner/bartender mixes an incredible drink and clearly takes pride in everything delivered to each table. I have no idea why this establishment isn’t better known, but we will always make it the destination for a special night out!

Orta is always a great spot for date night. We went lastnight and while there was a wait, they made it easy for us to get a couple drinks at the bar, which were then transferred to our table. We got a table in about 40 minutes and once we got there (walk ins on a saturday night) service was wonderful alongside absolutely delicious appetizers and entrees. While we were waiting, we were told seats were available at the bar and I simply said we would rather a table as it is our anniversary, and I think it was the manager who I was talking to, but we were treated to champagne and dessert on them, which was extremely nice. Highly recommend and will definitely return as we have many times.

Went to Orta on Saturday night. Ordered the chilled tuna and sweet corn soup for appetizers. Excellent! Had the seared scallops and chicken and broccoli alfredo. Excellent! Shared the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Excellent! Great service as well.

Everything was delicious. All 9 of us ordered different dishes and no one had any complaints. We all agreed that you could taste that everything was scratch made there and that made all the difference. Plus our server was so nice. Definitely planning on return visits.

Normally I do not mind paying high prices but when the quality of the food and the service is not good it feels like I have been taken advantage of.. My eggplant had cheese filling that was very salty – and I love salt – but this was unpalatable. They did not drain the pasta well so there was more water then there was sause and there was not much of that. We asked for more and we received it long after we had finished our meal. We also ordered a pizza and there was very little topping and a tun of cheese that tasted like the local pizza shop. The service was also so slow and we got there early – hardly anyone there – yet it was three hours before we left. Loved the but was too high in price for that little a quantity. So very sad this time wasn’t as good as others.
