The absolute worst place to eat pho!!! I order chicken pho with egg noodles ..broth tasted liked watery chicken noodle soup and chicken was cold! I ordered edamame and it was cold…ice cold. I asked it it was supposed to be served this way and was told that how we serve it here..??? Who eats cold edamame with no salt? And my husband’s order of Thai basil chicken was equally as bad!

Family got very sick after eating here. The Shoyu ramen tasted like boiled mop water and the “pork belly” was tough and smelled like dirt. The sesame chicken was beyond questionable. For some reason they have a turtle in a little dirty tank that has zero enrichment. Previous reviews indicate the owner will “make improvements” to the tank but it’s clear they won’t.

This place was great. It’s in Iowa City, but it’s not quite downtown so parking was easy. The ambiance is very nice and the owner of the restaurant visits your table to really make you feel welcome. The food is delicious and at a fair price with good portion sizes. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the Bulgogi that I ordered was good but I would have liked the beef just a little more tender. My husband ordered the duck fried rice and really liked it. The pot stickers were also very good. Willinitely be going here more in the future.

Clean. Tasty. Vegan and vegetarian options. Not busy. The owner was our waiter and he was very friendly. It was the best of everything you expect and could want out of an asain food restaurant. Will visit again soon and recommend to anyone coming to town.
