This place is absolutely stunning. Firstly the staff immediately greeted us with a very professional and caring manner. It was our first time and they explained everything very well. They have multiple seating arrangements and was confusing to me at first, until the hostess explained it all. It was awesome. They have booth seating, a bar, a table that I can’t explain but it authentic to the restaurant, and hibachi seating. We choose the hibachi as we were celebrating my wife’s birthday. They explained the menu to us and the food was delicious. Everything tasted fresh, and prepared to our liking. Our chef was very friendly and amazing on the grill. Our son was a little scared of the fire at first so the chef made sure to always keep him informed of what was coming next and made the experience much better. Our server was amazing as well, he was very professional and fast. Our drinks never went empty and he was always there to help. They offered the kids ice cream, and they loved it. This is definitely a spot for celebrations and the staff makes it unforgettable.

We had some visitors come in to town and wanted sushi for lunch. We decided on Osaka (in Henderson). The service was a bit slow and not that friendly or personable. Food was really good and tasty though. I got a bentobox (saba) and husband had Bara Chirashi. Our guests ordered other bento box. We also ordered couple of sushi rolls. We were all very satisfied with our choices.

I really wanted to like this place, but it was just really disappointing. Came in around 3:30pm on Saturday there was barely anyone here. Waited a bit and finally sat. Our server didn’t come in until 5-10 minutes and since it was my first time here, they have such a big menu we couldn’t decide. Our server never came back until 20 minutes after. And then after that, he never came back! (I think his name is Noah and just straight up left us hanging). None of the other servers came in to check in on our food or if we needed anything. We even overheard a family that was sitting next to us said “i think they forgot about us” and saw them looking for the server every 5 minutes. We had to wait for the food that felt like forever. We waited almost more than 30 minutes for someone to actually ask how we’re doing and get a check. Food is WAY overpriced, service is poor even during a non busy hour. I wouldn’t recommend coming :/

I’m not only Japanese but also from Osaka (yep just like the name of this restaurant lol) the nation’s kitchen. We know Japanese cuisine. We know sushi. More and more authentic Japanese food, sushi and Izakaya restaurants are opening in Las Vegas. But this place has been holding it down as one of the TRUE best for decades. The sushi quality at its sister branch on Sahara are as top notch as this one in Henderson but other food is okay. However, any food at the Henderson is all first class. It can’t get any better than this. Nothing to complain. Just bring your $$$!

The overall experience was great. The service was on point, and our waiter provide us with a lot of great insight and recommendations on the best bang for the buck. we ordered two of the giant boats.

This used to be one of our favorite places. It was always busy. Went there Sunday and the place was empty. We were the only table for the grill. Food was ok but not what we used to get. Really disappointed this time.

If you’re looking for authentic japanese food, look somewhere else. Waited 20 mins to get my order and another hour for my food and it wasn’t good at all. Got the ramen combo and it was horrible. The ramen had an odd smell and taste and only came with small fat bits from the chasu, an egg and an undisclosed green I will assume is spinach. Fried rice was bland, I swear the only seasoning is soy sauce and not even alot at that. The gyoza came out fried but was never asked if I wanted steamed or fried (personal opinion, gyoza should never be fried). I also never got my house salad and the prices are absurd for the quality of food you get. Save your money and your tummy, there are definitely better options.

My wife and I came here for our 29th Anniversary. This was our first time here and everyone was very friendly and the food was great. Head Chef John was very experienced with Sushi and very friendly. He made us a Kissing Bear Orange Plate. Thanks John! We will be back. Osaka Japanese Bistro has a piano bar and the pianist played and sang very well.

Old meat! We ordered a teriyaki beef combo w/ tempura shrimp, chicken teriyaki a-la-cart and a large steamed vegetable. On arrival, I was informed by the server, the vegetables were much smaller than he thought, fore he never sold that order and did I want to place a second order. No thanks! Get the food home, plates it and the beef taste old. It’s not seared, as expected. ..I’m disappointed. The chicken, tempura shrimp and small portion of Large vegetables were fine.

Date night with my little family is always so perfect here. We ordered the tempura as the appetizer. For drinks a blackberry drink, mango margarita, banana daiquiri & a shot of tequila. Rolls we shared white tiger, dragon, Kai’s special, & our absolute favorite Philadelphia, Lisa Lisa & Japanese Lasagna! Our minion ordered chicken teriyaki with rice, always a kid friendly meal- they even gave him training chopsticks. We always come for the late night special which is super affordable! So happy (:
