Food is usually pretty good here. This was my first time ordering take out. 4 Hibachi Chicken Lunches was $80. The sauce that the food is served with traditionally in the restaurant cost extra when you order takeout. For an $80 meal I had higher hopes than sporks and a food container 3/4 full. The sauces we paid extra for were in 1-2 oz containers. Overall just disappointed.

The hibachi chef was kind and did a good job. Unfortunately, the table was dirty when we sat down as well as the floors leading into the dining area. The people were nice though. We came for my son’s birthday at his request. The website said it opened at 11am, but they didn’t/don’t open until 4:30pm. After asking the “bus boy” to retrieve our waiter, she finally came back and gave a refill on our drinks.

The food I received was very overcooked and I let my server know so he got the manager. The manager said there was nothing she could do other than give me a few dollars off the ticket even thought I didn’t even eat the food. Also received the incorrect sushi rolls. The server was nice as he possible could be, but the manager did not care about the quality of the food whatsoever. That would be whatever for something from McDonald’s but for the price, I’d expect something at least decent. I couldn’t even get that.

The service here sucks. They had my party waiting for an hour and a half. Saying that they only have 1 chef and the other grill is broken, but when we was finally seated I see 4 hibachi tables and no air. Also have a full bar but you can’t sit at it nor do they service alcohol because they have no bartender!! Omg…. come on y’all.

Horrible, just horrible. My co-workers came around 12 ordered our food no later than 12:10. We all ordered hibachi and at 12:46 still no food. Our server was great and very apologetic about it. But what makes it worse is there was no one here, manager/supervisor, to speak with. This was unacceptable and not to mentioned the table behind us got there food 5 minutes after sitting down that came in after us.

Lunch time – not busy – yellow tail / gyoza / plum wine. Fair price even with the 15% – 45$ – I sat at the sushi bar- the taste was good. Staff was efficient – non intrusive – quiet environment. Will return.

It’s a pretty restaurant but the quality of the food makes it quite obvious this is not a Japanese owned restaurant. I ordered chicken karaage from the poplar location and received chicken nuggets and ketchup. The server checked on us 3 times in 1.5 hours. This restaurant is a mockery of Japanese food. The prices would make one assume this is top tier sushi and washoku. Do not recommend. Go to Sekisui East instead for REAL Japanese food made with pride and care.

This spot was Great! The service was above and beyond. The food was good just a little pricey, but I enjoy being at the Hibachi table watching the cook prepare the food was very entertaining! I was expecting more! Thank you Osaka for the experience
