The sushi is great. And I did enjoy the house ginger salad. The employees were kind, and the environment was traditional. However, everything else was subpar. The shrimp teriyaki was overcooked, and the veggies were frozen and cooked, taking away flavor opportunities. The veggie tempura was also bland. There was no seasoning in the batter or veggies. The restaurant has a lot of potential. However, the quality of the food is lacking. For the price, I was disappointed.

The gentleman at the counter was kind enough to inform us when we walked in that they only had one chef so it might be a bit of a wait for dinner. We decided to stay. We had our food (eight rolls) within 10-12 minutes. Great service and food!

From the outside it doesn’t give a good impression, however inside ist a legit restaurant. My rolls weren’t super super good, but enough for my spoiled taste. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays they have an interesting meal deal. You buy one roll and second will cost you only 2$.

When I get there with my boyfriend, we were told to sit. This isn’t our first time going either so we know the routine. I got the spicy California roll. Nothing raw at all. Get our food and the avocado looked slimy which was gross but I’ve never had a bad experience before. Hours later, I find out I have food poisoning. Great.

Cute little joint with some amazing sushi! Would have been a 5 star if the service was better. Out server didn’t speak English and was hard to communicate what we wanted. But the sushi was fresh and tasted amazing!
