We stopped by for lunch after a hike around MacDowell Creek Falls so came appropriately hungry for a good lunch. We ordered an individual meal for each of us plus a roll to share. The individual meals (like shrimp tempura) were good but not as great as the Shotgun roll. That roll really hit the spot. Main complaint with the meals was that they weren’t as spicy as indicated, and the tempura vegetables weren’t cooked uniformly.

We decided to try Osaka Sushi in Sweet Home this afternoon and we were very happy we did. They opened up this past April 2023 but didn’t know about it until a friend told me! There is lots of parking and don’t let the outside fool you. The restaurant was nice and clean inside and the sushi was delicious. The waitress Summer was really nice and the price is the going rate for most good Japanese/sushi restaurants in the area. The quality of the food was really good. We will definitely be going back : )

Awesome remodel. The atmosphere was bright and nicely decorated. The staff was attentive and helpful, very prompt with food and drink refills. We all enjoyed the food we ordered. We’ll have to go back again to try more of the menu. So many choices!

Osaka Sushi was a pleasant surprise! The food was wonderful! The restaurant has been updated inside and is very nice. Mostly I appreciated the staff. We had a larger party at our table and the wait staff was very attentive plus the manager checked on us several times. Definitely recommend!!

Service was great, servers are kind and doing their best. Food was lackluster. Sushi was poorly wrapped and cut to large. Fried rice was good if steamed rice is your jam. Over-cooked chicken. No real gluten free options. Menu is full of typos.

Wish I had photos but I ate it so fast. I ordered a Vegas roll and a Jalapeño roll. Both were incredible. Husband got a Spicy Chicken Don (rice bowl). He loved it too. Ordered online and everything went smoothly. Thank you for a delicious dinner!
