They are located next to LA fitness and across from Macys at Maplewood Mall. Parking lot is shared with other business. My son and I stopped by for a late night dinner. It wasn’t packed, which was nice. We sat and shared the griddle table with 3 other strangers with decent space to maneuver around, which it was great. Kid and family friendly, our table had two kids so our chef was persistent at entertaining and cooking at the same time. Even though, mine wasn’t in the mood and stubborn. But he caved in once he had some food in his tummy. And, complimented about the noodles to the chief. Our chef was awesome!! Food was decent, along with their flavoring and size portion served too. Overall, I enjoyed! I did ordered a 3 layer sangria and was delighted about it, too. I would go again.

Didn’t eat so I won’t go all the way down. I understand staffing is hard so I hesitate to go too critical. We sat for about 15 minutes and then got our server and ordered drinks. Took another 10 minutes and one of the two drinks ordered came. Waited another 10 minutes and got up and left. Paid cash with tip for both drinks even though we didn’t get the one drink. Server was working hard and it isn’t her fault. Disappointed nonetheless

Visited for lunch shortly after opening. Wasn’t busy but seemed only one woman unknown position(possible manager) was making things run. Was greeted by her, seated by her as well as her being my server. She was attentive, even suggested things on menu and a drink to try. Service was good but food wasn’t as good of quality as I remember many years ago. Quantity was plenty had 3 servings. This location could use some updating.

Had Brooke as our server and she was awesome some of the best service I had in a long time! She knows how to make a good drink and keep great conversation Loved our cook as well Tres, he was hilarious and quick witted and food was good! Highly recommend going on a Monday to see Brooke! Our server was kind and attentive and the food was good but the bathrooms were filthy. The changing table looks like it’s been used as a drug table, the floors were sticky, trash full, etc etc. Gross! The whole building has areas that seem to be under construction, are dirty or neglected. The decor is dusty, the signage is vandalized and one fish tank doesn’t even have fish in it. It just gives the whole place a super sketchy vibe. We will go to another location next time!

-I never thought I will have a first hand experience with Karen I mean Carolyn- at this restaurant. The two waitresses tried to fight my family and called police on us. They are extremely rude, no respect especially for POC. They told us, we won’t be seated or served. Carolyn screamed at us “get out” multiple times. All of these occurred because we asked -why my family hasn’t been seated 45 minutes passed our reserved time. Carolyn continued to harass us even after the manager apologized and seated us. Carolyn came to our table after we asked the manager that we do not want her to serve or come near us so we can just enjoy our meal peacefully. She came over to our table to express more hatred toward us then she called the cops on us by fabricating stories. To make matters worse, her little friend told one of my family member “let’s go outside!” Y’all know what that means. Very unprofessional behaviour. Unpleasant and unsafe environment. Very poorly managed. The waiters run the restaurant instead of the manager and so called “owner”. They ruined all the good memories we had with Osaka restaurants. No one enjoyed the meal. That being said- the chef was awesome, the officers that came out were professionals- they told us to go back and enjoy our meal. Can’t say the same with the “owner “ and management. Definitely it will be our very last time dining at Osaka restaurant. Disappointed.
