Sushi is small and not that great! After ordering and letting them know I was at work they got my order wrong after calling and letting them know the very obvious high cashier said well bring it back and hung up on me! As I did bring it back I had to wait another 8 mins for them to recook it. The man dug the chicken out of my plate and replaced it with the shrimp that was supposed to be there with no gloves! Never eating here again

Never EVER again! I was excited to eat sushi here but then the waiter rudely told me it would take 15 minutes. No problem I thought because we weren’t in a rush. When he came back to take the order he threw his hands up when I asked for sushi and again forcefully declared it would take 15 minutes. As if we were nothing him with our business!! So I said ok- I’ll just take a side dish. Nothing is more unappetizing than having a man yell at you for choosing what you want. After three bites of bland food we decided to leave. Not ironically we were out of there before the sushi would have been done.

Ordered through drive thru. First time ordering from here. Ordered a hibachi plate and kids corn dog w/ fries with no drinks and total came out at $17.78. Seemed pretty pricey and looked at their menu when I got home and no way it should’ve been that much! Wouldn’t complain about overpaying too much, but the plate wasn’t at all full with a few pieces of chicken and didn’t taste that great. First and last time coming here

The food is always good. The service is fast and friendly. But it is a very small staff so in order for them to take a vacation they have to close the restaurant. So they will be closing to the middle of January.

Gave it one star because I couldn’t choose zero stars. Food tasted terrible. Definitely not authentic Japanese food. Rice was greasy, the teriyaki chicken had a strange taste and texture and the sauce had the consistency of a bottle that sat out too long. Would not recommend. Hopefully we do not get sick from it. I’ll make the drive all the way to Hudson for good Japanese next time.

This place is ALWAYS AMAZING!!! For some reason they’re never busy though. We’ve been inside to eat several times plus gotten take out and quality is the same every time. We just went with a larger group and there was a little wait because they only have 1 cook but everyone agreed it was well worth it. Everyone’s food came out about the same time and we all loved it! My husband’s favorite is the sushi, they make it fresh to order!

I rarely post reviews of this nature, but I will have to reluctantly state I will no longer be coming back to this restaurant. Their food is nowhere near as good (and fresh) like it used to be, and the owner is seriously rude. Their sushi is not worth the price – if you want better sushi, go to Kin 2 Kin in Morganton. I strongly recommend them.
