The first time I ate at Oscar’s was in Nov of 2022. I was visiting My Juliet with my husband and we found it accidentally while doing a U-turn. We were hungry and kind of lost. It was the best lunch we had that entire visit. The tacos are flavorful with many choices of ingredients. They made sure they were gluten free but they tasted so good we had to ask to be sure! When visiting a friend with my daughter in April I was glad for another opportunity to grab some tacos. We had a variety and all of them were great.

This place is amazing. We had the California burrito, carne asada taco, shredded beef taco and ground beef taco. Everything was delicious. Large portions, and fresh ingredients. Looking forward to trying more items off the menu next time I’m in town. Or maybe yet this week, .

This Oscar’s is so lovely. The food is always fresh and delicious and the employees are friendly and helpful. On top of that it’s always immaculately cleaned, which I greatly appreciate. The dining experience is quaint and cozy and the art on the walls is unique and a beautiful touch. It even had a tiny little beer bar in the back. This location definitely makes you feel like you’re in a mom and pop place, very homey and family feeling. I usually get shrimp tacos or chicken quesadillas. Both are always excellent and larger than average portions. My partner gets the surf n turf burrito and he loves it. This Oscar’s is one of my favorite little spots. You won’t be disappointed!

This looked more like one of those “designer tacos” places and it was actually good. I had a carne asada torta that was pretty close to the real thing. My husband had the carnitas tacos and he said they were dry. I ordered a strawberry margarita Oscars Way- that’s with chamoy and tajín on the rim instead of lime and salt. It was really good! I liked the torta and we it was a nice quick bite.

Excellent service. Clean inviting place. Rolled taquitos were delicious. Salsas are tasty. Personal is very attentive. Definitely a must go for a quick lunch. Price and portions are reasonable.

Great food, plenty to fill up on. Glad to have an Oscar’s in MJ finally. The service was quick, but the kitchen is still learning and mixed up a few things on the order but it won’t keep me from coming back. The California Burrito was great and the Taco Salad was on point. Got the chips and queso and was surprised how good it was. Chicken Quesadilla was twice as much as my daughter could eat. We’ll be back, happy to support a local place.

On the quest of finding an authentic Mexican restaurant in MJ we heard about Oscars and had to give it a try. There are two sides of the spectrum of authenticity. One side would be a Chipotle type chain and the other would be a hole in the wall restaurants that only locals know of. Oscars is closer to that hole on the wall side thankfully.
