Wish I would’ve remembered to take a photo of my food before we ate it all but we ate it really fast! It was just that good! We got the big tex and two tacos. It was by far the best food we’ve had in Alaska so far! Being native southerners the halibut taco was an awesome blend between the southern food we love and Alaskan fish we were looking for! Highly recommend!

This food truck slaps! The music, menu and food all tell a story of delicious eats infused with Texan culture. We LOVED the hand-cut fries smothered with cheese & chorizo, the massive beef burrito and flavorful halibut taco. We appreciated other details like Starlink wifi, cornhole, paper/compostable serve ware, cool merch, covered seating and specialty hot sauces. For a food truck, this feels like a proper restaurant operation. Highly recommend!

I got the halibut taco and a hibiscus tea. The taco was really crispy and delicious the tea was just enough sweetness and was savory. My sister got the pulled pork burrito it was huge and delicious very filling the outside of the burrito was crispy too. The service was great very friendly and and a good sense of humor. If I ever find myself here again I would definitely eat here again.

The halibut taco was fantastic!! So was the hibiscus tea. Double yum! Cool cook, fun atmosphere – music & cornhole. Park/playground close by to keep everyone happy. Highly recommend!!

Best Hibiscus Tea my wife and I have ever had. Best Halibut tacos ever. We’re from Arizona and probably between us had a million different tacos by now. And these hands down are the best sea food tacos with Halibut. My wife was dieing to get some more.

Pulled pork tacos were amazing. We arrived late at the dock on a Sunday in Hoonah and ventured out to find something to eat. Everything was officially closed but Oso Gordito came to our rescue. I can’t say enough good things about this establishment. They made our Alaska trip extra special!
