This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Rome and we are so happy they have now opened a location in Miami! The food is exactly the same as in Rome, maybe even better! Everyone was very nice and accommodating even with my loud younger children. Highly recommend this restaurant. One of the only really authentic Italian restaurants in town!

I’ve been to the original location probably 10 times. Here in Miami they have TRIPLED their prices and the quality is awful. $50 for a small size pasta when they charge €10 for it in Rome ? Apparently the owner thought they could overcharge Americans, hopefully they learn a lesson. Was really looking forward to eating here, and was shocked at the menu prices. I was just in Rome in May, when I saw it was triple the price I decided I’d never come back so let’s just enjoy it this one time, unfortunately the quality was NOT there either. What makes it so special in Italy is the fresh quality of the ingredients. Here the ingredients simply aren’t as good. So pay 3X more for worse tasting food, No Thanks. Check the prices and Add 30% for the mandatory tax and tip. Most Overpriced Restaurant on Lincoln Road. Priced like fine dining, but it’s on a bad part of Lincoln road in front of a sunglass shop.

Have visited the original restaurant in Rome and this first location in the US definitely lives up to the name. Although it is not exactly the same, for obvious reasons, it is extremely similar. Pasta is perfectly fresh and al dente, and the flavor is amazing. Highly recommend the Carbonara, it is the #1 seller in Rome. Hopefully this place endures, because it is great.

Mateo from Napoli was nothing but nice and respectful. Everyone at the restaurant spoke Italian and they made everything by hand. You can even watch as they make the pasta by hand near the front door. Great food and even better service.

A 100+ year old Italian gem makes Miami Beach its first location outside of Italy. You know you aren’t in the typical Lincoln rd location when you see three ladies hand rolling pasta in the window (just like in Rome). It’s not a gimmick either, as the noodles have such a satisfying slight chewy texture and the sauces are unctuous and flavorful. The carbonara glows yellow and the pancetta adds a little kick. The arrabbiata seemed a little underspiced at first, but cumulatively intensified to a satisfying crescendo. The veal saltimboca was pure decadent bliss. Rounded out by friendly service from Fernanda and Alberto, the first night was a resounding delight. Only tip- dim the lighting some and you have the perfect intimate Italian dining experience.
