We had a reservation downtown for a friend’s birthday dinner last Friday but the celebrant suddenly was running late and the original restaurant couldn’t accommodate anything past 10 mins from the original reserved time. So off we scrambled to find a restaurant in Resy that can accommodate a group of 10 at 7pm on Friday. I also thought of this place as I’ve seen the wonderful reviews in the past. So I decided to call and they were able to squeeze us in.

We came here for a romantic night which wasn’t the vibe/set up of the restaurant when we arrived. This is more of a party with a friend or for an exciting night out. The music was loud, so be prepared to jam out and have to sit next to each other if you want to talk at a regular level. The outside set up of the place was nice and welcoming, while the indoors set up was party like but also welcoming. We went on a Saturday night and noticed there was only 1 server and 1 waiter, which was felt in the service. We got the Bruschetta, lemon chicken, and spaghetti & meatballs. The food was tasty, very well seasoned to reflect the neighborhood where soul food is popular, but a little too seasoned for me. I enjoyed myself with the music and food, and had an ok experience. Good place for a night out alone or with a friend.

This is one of my fav places in Harlem! High quality food. I had the Strip Steak with roasted potatoes and string beans. So good! And for drink I got a cocktail called Dirty Passion, amazing! At the end this amazing Nutella Crepe with Strawberries : the end of the world!!!

Loved this place!! Can’t believe it took us this long to find it!! Food was well prepared and seasoned right! Both meals were excellent. Above all it was reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and Laura was so nice and came around to make sure everything was perfect! A great family place.

I never ever leave reviews- rarely does a place deserve it like this spot. Met a friend for dinner coming from Brooklyn yo Harlem- quite a trek. Let’s just say I’ll be going back. The music is amazing- Italian restaurant playing afrobeat- beautiful. The owner Laura is a beautiful spirit also. The people in there are super friendly and feels like walking into a episode of cheers. And the food- on point. The drinks- on point. What more could you really ask for? Don’t ask for more. This is enough of what you’ll need. Go there.

I found this place because I was craving Italian food! This menu was great to fulfill my craving. I didn’t expect this place also have ambience! I got penne alla vodka because it’s my go to Italian Dish! I was so stuffed from it and they also give complimentary bread, which is nice and thinly sliced. The drinks were so strong but also tasty! What made this experience even better was the server, Angel. She is indeed an Angel – so nice, tons of menu knowledge and went above and beyond to make our experience great.
