Visited with an open mind and good expectations. The 3 hosts at the entrance at 5.05 pm were not as welcoming as our server. They were verbally clear that we only had 1 hour to finish our dinner. Unfortunately the food, while decent, it felt very short. We have been in dozens of Italian restaurants in the city and even though the service was very good, the food was average at best. We don’t mind paying anything for a good-authentic Italian dish, but their take on the bolognese is not authentic & the serving portion looked like a kid size pasta dish for $25.00. The Parmigiana was bland and soggy. The recommended pear & prosciutto pizza special of the day was burned in the edges (picture) and underneath. The kitchen needs some good redirection.

Nice Italian restaurant in the Park Road shopping center. Reservations recommended. They have a diverse menu of pasta, entrees, and wood fired pizzas. Had the bolognese and really liked the sauce. Rich with a hint of sweet. Wife enjoyed the chicken parm.

We visited from Charleston and the food was amazing as well as the service. Food came out quickly and they were very accommodating. We tried a variety of things on the menu and all were so good! We finished with their cheesecake and it might possibly be the best we’ve ever had!

Great food, great staff, great ambiance. We made a reservation through Resy for a party of 4. Upon arriving they asked us if we would mind sitting at the pizza bar, we took upon the offer. We were with two kids so a table would have been more comfortable but that didn’t really bother us. We had a nice time watching the pizza being made and speaking to the pizza staff. The food is really good. Not an Americanlized Italian (no garlic on sauces!!!!) so they understand you want to taste the sauce and the amazing tomatoes and not the disgusting garlic. Burrata appetizer was amazing. Chicken parm was nice and crispy. Kids pasta was likely great as my 8 year old son (which is super picky eater) wanted a second portion! Wine list is extensive but not any particular wine that caught my attention. We ordered the Chianti Classic and despite the low reviews on Vivino it was okay ($9.95 bottle for $55). Will definitely come back and definitely recommend for those that are looking for a great Italian inspired restaurant!
