Five stars for Osteria Mazzi. The food in this restaurant is fantastic! The dishes are made with amazing ingredients, and the aromas are to die for. I love their caponatta, which is served with burratta, and the flavor is next level. The place has excellent service, atmosphere, presentation, and the most adorable Nono leading the open kitchen. It’s a jewel in Coral Springs, and if you enjoy authentic Italian food, you won’t be disappointed. We had Zucchini flowers and Caponatta for appetizers. My Entre was a Veal in Mushroom sauce, we also ordered a Margerita pizza and a Calzone Napoletano. Everything was delicious!

Osteria Mazzi is located in Coral Springs (University/RoyalPalm). Gotta say… there’s a ton of dining options in this city from corporate giants to mom/pop shops that offer every cuisine one can crave. This year old spot reminds me of an Italian cafe…rustic, aromatic & welcoming. It’s a rainy Saturday afternoon and we’re the only table, so we’re lucky to have the chef & server all to ourselves as they are charming & hospitable. Chef is from Milan and previously owned La Traviatta in FTL. We enjoyed a nice bottle of vino, charcuterie (tomatoes, mozzarella, caponata, salami, provolone), fettuccine bolognese (earthy & hearty) and lasagna (8 layers of pure richness). By the looks of the Italian wood burning oven and boxes, pizza must be their specialty, but their cooked dishes were superb. We’ll definitely return for the pies, but for now we leave warm, fuzzy, happy & full.

We’ve dined here 3-4 times already. Consistently very pleased, we always look forward to going, we enjoy the delicious food, service and cozy ambiance, always start conversations with people in other tables. Love the complimentary bread starter. So sometimes they forget to bring the cheese or the black pepper? Stand up and ask! Our server is WONDERFUL always. We look forward to returning!

Osteria Mazzi, which roughly translates to “Tavern Bouquets” or “Garden Cafe/Eatery” masquerades as an authentic Italian restaurant. Osteria Mazzi is not Italian. It’s not New York Style Italian. It fails to accurately represent any Provence or city in Italy. Olive Garden is arguably more Italian than Osteria Mazzi.

Food was phenomenal! I really felt like I was eating dinner at my family members house, not at a restaurant. The owner and Jimena our server were very attentive. I especially enjoyed when our calzone was cut tableside (see photos). The pasta is made on site. Make sure you get the octopus and don’t skip out on dessert. We will be back! ❤️‍ ❤️‍ ❤️‍

Very good Italian style pizza. The two pizzas we ordered were large enough for 2 people to share. Good quality ingredients all from Italy. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the other items on the menu.
