Delicious food and quick service. The staff is so welcoming and very attentive with high energy. I highly recommend getting the crab dog! Soooooooo delicious. Daily happy hour is always a plus in my book. I’d recommend coming for the fresh oysters and delicious cocktails too.

The food was great, I had a really tasty lobster roll. It was plenty for one portion, even though they said they were sharing plates we didn’t share and it was enough food per person, my son had the crab on toast. The atmosphere destroyed the experience for us though, unfortunately there was a large Tv dominating the restaurant playing golf which although no one seemed to be watching, the staff refused to turn off. It’s fine for a local dinner here, but having a large TV will not add to the dining experience.

The owner is rude to customers and his staff. His staff members actually complained to me that he treats them poorly. He rules with fear. They are scared off him. Food is mediocre, don’t be fooled by happy hour oysters 1,5 will by you watery slimy, oysters. The descent ones cost $ 5 each, it wouldn’t matter though if you try hot sauce, that will kill your pallet for the next two hours. What really is horrible is the owners rude, vindictive behavior. Oh really I am harassing customers? You threw a plate in front of me across the room. After I returned your dish. Who was harassing who again? I hope you felt like a big guy, doing it, thank you for not throwing it at me.

Ostrica has won me over with time and time again with their menu, the lobster grilled cheese is a highlight, the spicy margarita is always a favorite to go with it. The staff are also incredibly personable, Avery and Lina always impress with their knowledge and recommendations. The location is new, very clean, and one of the better places I’ve visited in 2022.

Amazingly fresh food which is prepared and cooked right in front of you in the open kitchen. Watching the torched tuna being made by the Chef is a must see. They offer unique wine based cocktails that paired really well with the food. Great service and friendly staff. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Ostrica is the best new addition to Kips Bay/Murray Hill in a long time. We’ve been several times already! It’s an elevated-but-casual gathering spot, with Foodie-level food! Chef Mike is a proper chef/artist who *only* makes delicious food, and always makes it unique. The management team at Ostrica has assembled a fantastic, sharp, friendly staff who make you feel welcome and well taken care of. It’s our new favorite place to go for fresh seafood, tasty cocktails, and a comfortable, grown-up vibe.

Fresh oysters and amazing seafood the lobster grilled cheese was filled with fresh lobster, the fig and blue cheese on sourdough bread is one of the most addicting things I’ve ever eaten! Love the staff super friendly and knowledgeable in their menu and attentive to guests. Also try the French kiss cocktail it’s so smooth!

The talented folks behind VinoTapa have done it again! Ostrica’s decor is casual and classy while their menu includes some unexpected gems including a delicious Waygu Crab Dog and refreshing oyster shooters (our first time). Everything we ordered was fresh and exceptional. The friendly and attentive staff completed our all around fantastic experience. If I could add more stars, I would. It’s a must dine!
