I absolutely LOVE this place! It’s my favorite place to splurge on a nice dinner for special days. The food was cooked to perfection and not dry at all with some great seasoning. The Chefs are incredibly charismatic and funny as well as skilled. My favorite part is when they ask to have you catch a small piece of shrimp that they throw at you. That’s always good fun for the group. Last but not least you get a complementary scoop of vanilla ice cream to finish off your meal. The portions are so big you’re definitely gonna be taking it home!

The entree was very delicious and watching them make the food is fun! I wouldn’t reccomend getting their appetizers though, we got the tempura shrimp and vegetables and it simply wasn’t tempura. The shrimp were fried in panko and the vegetables had a chewy and disappointing batter (picture attached) In terms of service, I was disappointed by the waitress who misheard my friend when he ordered, and then we asked her again to clarify- she looked annoyed at us and said she got it. She did not have it and they ended up giving him the wrong thing, he ate it still but it was bothersome. The ambience is okay, the bathroom was kind of gross.

Love this place!! Tired first time!!!! Food is delicious bot spicy though!!.Chef is awesome .Ordered chicken fired rice and steak with some sautéed veggies.It’s better to go with reservation as place is really crowded and don’t have much tables.Love the fire start.Soup is good. Loved small cup of vanilla ice-cream at the end.I felt bit expensive , Though we used 40$ Groupon coupon we ended up paying some 25-30$ extra for 2. One time experience.

One of the best family dinner experiences around Chantilly. Very impressed with the service and food quality here. Of course it was $150 with a $40 Groupon for our family of six but the experience was spot on. The steak and scallops was delicious and we all got take home food because it is impossible to eat the amount they provide. Nice touch with the scoop of vanilla ice-cream as well!

Clean, super helpful staff, talented chefs, and delicious food. We enjoyed the show and had plenty of food left to eat tomorrow. They prefer reservations but you can usually make them the day of if needed. I love the salmon and shrimp with fried rice.

UPDATE: Thete is no sushi lunch buffet anymore. But Otani is one of very few restaurants that offer hibachi, cook in front of you style meals. We took the family there and we had a good time and ate well.. Love the sushi buffet during lunch! Staff is nice and food fresh. Fun place for all

Our office had a lunch outibg at Otani. Their offerings for the hibachi grill were a good variety, but were on the expensive side. The sushi was good and reasonable, however, and the buffet was there for those not into hibachi. Our group enjoyed the meal very much.

Im so glad everything is coming back to place. We’ve missed family dinner with entertainment. Food was extraordinary. Great flavor and a huge portion is given. Staff is friendly and made sure your drinks were always full. Sushi was very good as well.
