Amazing dining experience! I believe it’s walk in only so prep maybe a drink nearby if you’re going at a busier time. 4 of us sat at the same bar which was a perfect corner spot. Every dish was well described and the waiter helped us with the food and sake choices. He was super cool and the service added to the great atmosphere. Impeccable food. Highly recommend!

A very lovely and dynamic space + very cool and hospital staff. Obviously here one finds a beautiful selection of sake and other drinks, presented in a little booklet. At the same time one doesn’t want to miss the food. The tomatoes in the salad immediately evoked an imagery of the fruit basking in bright summer sunlight, ripening and building up all the flavor. The shrimp okonomiyaki was beyond expectation too – rich but not heavy so you just want more. And for dessert, it was so refreshing to have the melon, simple, saturated with its natural sweetness. Will come back!

The soft shell shrimp was amazing but the rest was average and pricey for the portion sizes. The staff was great. There is no host to greet you, so understanding the seating process is confusing but we asked the bartender who told us to wait for the wait staff to come over. There was a Dodgers game so virtually nowhere to park. I paid $11 to valet but my friend said that she’d paid $30 on her previous visit, so it varies. Get there early or prepare to wait since the place is small but doesn’t take reservations. It opens at 5pm.

A small and quaint restaurant, sake bar with amazing food to pair. Highly recommend the cabbage salad and soft shell shrimp. Cheese and scallion okonomiyaki has flavors bursting in every bite. Server was accommodating and atmosphere was warm. Plum sake was delectable, too. A go to spot for date night and large groups to share many dishes!

I’ve been here twice – once with my sister, and once with a group of 8. Both experiences were excellent! With my sister, we were seated at the bar and ordered a bunch of small dishes off the menu (the Ebi Fry was a standout), as well as a carafe of sake to split between the two of us.

I’ve been wanting to try out this place for a while and it doesn’t disappoint! The okonomiyaki was delicious along with my favorite drink of the night. It was a spicy umeshu (plum wine) that was first sweet, then tart, and spicy. Usually flavors like that would clash. But that drink really brought together those flavors in such a delicious way! If the Ippongi is still on the menu, definitely order a glass!

Amazing sake collection, and unique Japanese food offerings. Definitely will be a restaurant customer and if you’re reading this wondering if you should come here, do it! Wait can be a little long though as the space is smaller.

Pricey! But great sake collection! All dishes were delicious and well prepared. Gets crowded but it seems like a place people just stop over so the tables get turned over quickly. Staff was efficient but a bit grumpy. The sweet potato used the best type of sweet potato!
