Authenticity meets deliciousness at Our Mom Eugenia in Shirlington. Our group of five sampled a wide selection of cocktails, appetizers, main dishes, and desserts, and every item was expertly prepared. You could taste the chef’s passion for quality and see the pride in the staff’s service. The prices are a little high but it’s worth every penny. Be sure to make a reservation because the place is packed nearly all day; everyone obviously knows about this fantastic new spot in the Village!

The service was prompt; the hostess and waitress were very professional and attentive. The food was good, I had a lamb burger with a nice serving of fries. The lamb burger was huge. The Greek salad and calamari were large enough for me and my friend to s ha are and still have leftovers of both items. My friend had the lamb chops with potatoes and green beans; she said her dinner was delicious.

First time to this amazing place to eat. Served first was calamari and a Greek salad with extra feta cheese. The calamari was done perfect, absolutely tender along with the eggplant salad dip. Main course consisted of three lamb chops and asparagus along with Dolmades and string beans. And finally dessert consisted of birds nest and earl grey tea. Highly recommended if you like Greek cuisine. Please make a reservation since it is very popular.

A terrific addition to the Shirlington community. It is welcoming establishment with great service and exceptional food. and professionaauthentic Greek cuisine It started when we arrived and asked to sit outside; the answer was “anything is possible!” We had tzatziki with warm and wonderful pita bread; a great start! The octopus appetizer was fresh, tender, and delicious. Wow. Then…. our mains—the special halibut and moussaka were authentic and delicious!!! We’ll definitely be back!

I stopped by here with my partner to celebrate the restaurant’s opening night. It felt like the staff had some opening night jitters but they ended up doing very well. We started off with a Greek beer and a pineapple upside down cocktail. The beer came in a cool glass and the cocktail was delicious. We had fried zucchini slices (very good) and they had my favorite lentil soup (really good) as the soup of the day. We then had an order of the beef meatballs and my partner had the steak skewers. The meatballs were ok but not nearly as good as the skewers which great and I highly recommend them. The atmosphere was nice and not too stuffy. Overall, a great addition to the Shirlington lineup!

After being open only three weeks, this restaurant is impressive. The ambience is clean, cozy, and chic. We sat in the front window on a beautiful sunny day for lunch, enjoyed an extensive, very fresh menu and was very pleased with the price range, portion size, and quality of each dish. Everything was great and then the associates were kind, knowledgeable, and very personable. Special shout out to Kayah who helped us have a lovely lunch experience – she’s a true professional. I can’t wait to return for dinner and sample the yummy cocktail menu!!! 5 well-deserved stars, OME just raised the bar in Shirlington Village!
