Old time restaurant with good home cooking. Reminds me of going to Grandma’s house for dinner. Couldn’t pass on the half a broasted chicken and 3 sides for $9.75. Pepsi makes it all better. Definitely adding to my PepsiStops.

My wife and I were nicely satisfied with this place. We were passing through the area at dinner time and looked on the Internet for a family diner. It is as you’d expect from such a place. Decent food at decent prices. I had a boasted chicken plater. My wife went with a Philly cheese steak sandwich. And bottomless coffee. The staff were friendly.

Today was our first time here. The service was great. The food was tasty, very simplistic which isn’t a bad thing. My only complaints are it was very stuffy in the restaurant. The floors were very dirty. Food bits everywhere. I did not see any bugs, thankfully. It just needed a sweep. Overall, it was a good place to stop for a bite. I’d rather eat there and support a local business than eat fast food.

LarderRoom…Passed through Washington Court House, OH and found Our Place. Imagine a small town Cracker Barrel with big town flavor. Ordered a few country style dinners witch comes with 3 sides. 3 sides! Tried the Broasted Fried Chicken & the Meatloaf. Sides included mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans & Fried A pples. Yep, Fried apples!!! Nap time! Will be back for the Texas Tenderloin!

Great service. Didn’t care for the slaw. The broasted chicken was very good. One of the group got meatloaf and liked it but didn’t care for the sugar cream pie.

If rating based on the food alone, it would be 4 stars. The fried chicken we got was unusually dark in color, and tasted like it had been made earlier in the morning and then simply warmed up when served.
