As we were parking, we noticed how quickly people were walking up to the restaurant. What we didn’t realize was that seating was very limited. 3 outdoor tables to accommodate larger parties and a few small tables for up to 4 guests inside the restaurant. On a Friday night, we had to wait about 15 mins to grab a table. Very friendly staff. They provided a high chair for our little one. Fish was greasy. Lobster roll was good and scallops were delicious. The fries were good too!

The food was awful.The table was dirty from the last patrons and they didn’t even offer to clean it. Fried Clam strips were nice size but chewy and the fried oysters again nice size but so gooey and extremely chewy no crunch at all. We couldn’t eat it we left . So disappointed. The food use to be amazing and fresh full of flavor. Not Today, don’t waste your money. I’d never go back .

We’ve always enjoyed Joe’s Out of the Blue in Hampton Bays as a local seafood spot both for fresh seafood amen! And also for fresh fish, shellfish and other! My favorite is the fried flounder fish sandwich with fries, but the steamed buckets, fish and chips and fish tacos are all top of the list.

If you really want good seafood and are willing to overlook some incidentals as plastic silverware and no table cloths this is the place to go. The food is excellent and well prepared, the prices are reasonable and the portions are large.
