We chose Outback in Durham for our anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed. Our server Ariel was the best ever. The customer service was excellent. Our hot bread was on the table within minutes of us being seated. Then our cocktails and appetizers were brought within minutes with a smile and they were perfect. Our steaks were perfect and when Ariel found out that it was our anniversary, she had the manager, Tyrone come to our table to congratulate us and offer us a dessert as a gift. Great experience tonight, my wife was very impressed and we will be back.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve been to Outback. The food was good but slow. My Mac n cheese didn’t come out until I was almost done with my steak. My steak was cooked to the correct temperature (mid rare) but had a severe lack of seasoning. My wife’s chicken tenders were good and she liked her meal. The sweet tea was good. It will be a long time before I go back.

This was our last date night before we have our first baby and it did not disappoint! Marva was our server and as my husband and I have both been servers, she did a great job. I loved the tablet technology for taking orders as we had our appetizer, bread, and drinks before our server stepped away from the table. The manager was close by while ordering prime rib and made sure it would come out to the temperature when seared. When she stepped away, the server sung her praises which was so refreshing to hear as well. It’s not often that staff compliments their managers that way. Overall great experience and will certainly be back.

The only reason I’m giving the food a 4 is because my porter house came out more rare than I would like even though I asked for medium as well as coming out a bit cold. Although the service from the server Kelly was fantastic so I’m sure if I just would’ve asked, she would’ve corrected that for me. So, really, it’s on me. Which is why im still rating it a 5. The food was great and the taste was amazing. Didn’t need to add anything. I absolutely loved it with my husband and would 10/10 come back and eat here again.

I’m not big on chain restaurants. That being said I love this Outbacks. Located between Durham and Chapel Hill, it’s easy to reach. The hostesses are super sweet. The waiters & waitresses are awesome. Always dressed right, hair trimmed and great attitudes. Then you add a clean restaurant and clean bathroom. The tvs are too loud and the food is spot on. The best chain restaurant experience we’ve had in a WHILE. ALL staff, from hostess, servers, waitress were friendly and courteous and really seemed like they wanted to be there. Good was cooked quickly and serving was very quick. We had especially great service from our sweet waitress Marva perfect spot on our drive home to Charlotte. We will be back!!
