The recent steak and lobster combo, which includes several sides and a dessert , is an absolute steal at roughly $20 . I’m going to indulge in this at least once more before it goes away . Lobstertail was small but savory as I would’ve expected . Likewise, the sirloin was correctly cooked medium and quite savory . Rational human size portions, too. And really, you want top end beef and / or top end surf and turf , go to the Metropolitan Grill or El Gaucho here in Seattle . For one third the cost , and friendly service , there’s absolutely everything to recommend Outback Steakhouse . When I lived in California there was one of these not 500 feet from my apartment complex and I can think of no chain that endears me more : found it 26 years ago and I make it a point to go every few years since. Somehow they haven’t quite lost their luster for a quarter-century and there are not all that many businesses one can say that about…they do have a winning model . Recommended , for what it is .

I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but it’s as bad as these reviews say. They don’t have half of the items on their website, the blooming onion was undercooked (how do you mess up your signature item?), there was a weird cleaning detergent smell all throughout our meal, and the attached picture of the lone steak on a plate? That was my entree, that was supposed to come with sides. The only ok thing was the servers. Do not waste your time here.

I was extremely impressed by the service. My Mom and I had questions about a special they were offering and to my surprise, a woman who must have been the mgr. visited our table to make certain that our questions were answered satisfactorily. My sense was that this person sets the tone for the servers ensuring the staff goes above and beyond. It made me feel a sense of pride to see a woman in a position of responsibility doing a spectacular job. The food was good too.

Bad customer experience… The waiter was impatient to place the order and did not allow us to settle down fully when we entered the restaurant. Worst thing, she took the payment card folder from the table came back 2 mins saying that I did not keep my credit card for payment. Looks like she dropped my card on her way and I had to pick my credit card 10 feet away from our table. When I told her about this incident, her reaction was… “It’s so weird”. No apologies, nothing. Food was okay – 3.5 star. Not returning… Ever.

This location has very good staff and the best fries I have had at an outback! Unfortunately, when I went the other day, the cleanliness was enough to deduct a point. Under the lamps there was brown spatter and at our seat there was a faint acidic smell. I also am deducting a point for the steak. I ordered medium and definitely got rare. Still good flavor, but was undercooked and the inside was completely red. I will be coming back just due to staff and fries, but I may order well done next time.

Under new management and it definitely shows. Very welcoming environment, helpful servers, and really good happy hour deals. And best of all, they have a lot of gluten free options and a dedicated fryer for fries. Highly recommend stopping in!

After being seated we had to run a waiter down to take our order… that should have been a sign to leave. Waiter was awsome but they definitely need some help in the kitchen. Potatoes were all cold and a huge hair under my husband’s chicken. Manager was nice and comped his chicken but did not get anything for replacement… still had a very hungry husband after all was said and done.

The restaurant is easy to find. There are plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is relatively big and there are many tables. It is clean in general, but certain areas such as under tables may be overlooked. Not expensive consider it is a steak house, but you get what you pay for (steak quality is not top grade). Josh, the server who served us, was attentive, polite, and friendly with smiles always. He made a significant difference in my dining experience at this place.
