Outlaw Diner Menu – Columbia Falls, MT

Type : Diner

Location : Columbia Falls, MT

Breakfast and lunch all day. We have our own take on classic dishes. Our special jalapeño Outlaw Sauce is great on eggs and burgers. Our menu includes scrambles, breakfast platters, handhelds, burgers, gyros (Yee-Rows), salads, warm sandwiches, housemade chicken strips, and so much more! Full liquor license as of December 2022.

We are an order at the counter, seat yourself, get your own drink kind of place. We don’t wait tables or pour your coffee. We make waffles not pancakes. No eggs to order. They come scrambled or fried. We believe food should be filling and affordable. We ain’t fancy around here.

My wife and I always try to go to the “mom and pop” places. We decided to try this Outlaw Diner. First impression we’re not bad at all. Not many guests at the counter or tables so we walked right up and ordered. I got the cowboy, my wife got the b&g with side of bacon.

Little lacking on service when we were here in July. Walked in and all the tables needed to be cleaned. Very crowded. Sat for a while and then realized we had to go to the counter to order. Ordered, got our drinks from the self serve dispenser.

I tried to eat here, but I was ignored. Not even a hello. I tried to be patient, but I left when someone else came in a while after I arrived and was quickly waited on. Oh well, same old story, not enough employees and the ones you do get…

This was our first time here it was a good tasty breakfast. I enjoyed their biscuits and gravy a lot. No waiting to be seated go in find a table sit down read the menu order at the counter they will bring the food to you.

Great spot for breakfast. Was visiting glacier for a few days and ended up eating at this spot a couple of times. Very nice staff and service. Good people and good food.

This breakfast place was AMAZING in 2022. Sadly upon revisiting this month we were told that they wouldn’t serve us since there were 5 in our party. They also were unwilling to make a to-go order because the cook “doesn’t like” to make them. There were only 4 tables in the place at the time, it was BIZARRE! We offered to split into two tables and were told that it would be an extremely long wait if we wanted to eat there. We were told that if we visited in the future maybe they would have more staff to accommodate us. SUCH a bummer..and so strange. ‍♀️

Cool place to eat. Great service, just had to order & pay for food at counter and then they bring it to you. On our trip out west, lots of places were like this due to staff shortages.

Food was decent, but we had a hard time ordering because it seemed everything my son picked from the menu was not available for some reason. Then, they closed 3 hours early and we were the last ones in the restaurant. Just kind of an awkward experience.

Very unimpressed. We walked in as a party of 6 and were told they could only serve 4 of us. They would serve us 4 and 2, 3 and 3, but would not do all 6 of us. There was a girl working who said it was her first day, so she asked the owner about it, and he did not come out to explain the rule, he sent her back out and she just said I’m not really sure, but you guys can order separate and sit together. We all just felt weird vibes from the get go, and left before even ordering.
