The Picky Eater
Had the two meat tray and all the meats brisket and ribs were very good. Well seasoned without bbq sauce which is what I prefer. However I didn’t enjoy the Mac and cheese which had like nacho cheese on top with some red spice I’m blanking on the name of. The potato salad was also not for me. Other people with me did enjoy these so may just not be my taste. The corn bread was okay. My kids enjoyed sharing the chicken sandwich. The meat was well seasoned and tender.

Definitely one of the better BBQ joints in town. The atmosphere has a nice southern feel to it and the design of the place welcomes large parties. The food portions are hearty but they are expensive and you won’t be disappointed. I do recommend this place

Friendly staff and helpful. We ordered the fried okra which was tasty & plentiful. We also had the Cow Tip Dip & the 2 meat platter. The Dip was tasty and enjoyable. The brisket was good, but a little lacking in smoke but still very tender. The pulled pork was also good but lacking in smoke flavor. I think their red sauce may be a better fit but I am not a fan of the yellow (Carolina style) sauces.

Probably the best BBQ food I’ve had at a restaurant. I’m not a fan of smokey flavored BBQ food, and the meats here are flavored just right with the option to have your meats come with sauce or add your own. Ribs just fall off the bone, lots of options for sides and tons of food per order, so come hungry! Not only is the food great, but the patio area is also great!

Fun atmosphere, great food, and great service! The turkey was smoked to perfection. The huckleberry tea was an excellent pairing with the food. They even let my hubby sample the Mac n cheese before ordering.

The food was amazing! I’ve been wanting to stop in and I was nearby at lunch so I did. I ordered the Outlaw Mac and Cheese with sausage. It was heavenly! Oh my gosh! Plus I got the cheesy corn bread muffins on the side and they were fantastic too. The portion was giant and will definitely be two meals. I also picked up a couple of the personal pies for later. They are made by Pies by Sara and they look amazing.

Bbq in Spokane? Indeed!!! And it’s legit . It was my favorite meal during my stay. Oh can’t say enough about the bartender. I’m sorry I forgot your name but you…the cute dirty blonde with the cute voice and million dollar smile! Thank you for the recommendation on the IPA and for the military discount!
