Well Actually
Absolutely love getting Sil’s tamales. Today stopped by to Pick up a dozen handed her all my punch cards she was going to combine them for me. And I had a free dozen coming . Absolutely made my day. She informed me that she’s been there 12 years now I knew it was a long time I had no idea it’s been that long. If you’ve never tried them you have to stop by they come out hot fresh and ready-to-eat great go to dinner , or pick him up for lunch.

UPDATE: I drove out special from Fairbanks on Saturday to make sure I tried the tamales. I ordered the Outlaw special with a three tamales differant ones. I liked the shreded beef the best but they all were great.

Looking for authentic tamales? This is the place. Take it from a Mexican who grew up making tamales in South Texas. These are the best tamales I’ve had outside of my mom’s house. This lady (owner) puts a lot of heart and authentic flavor. The salsa is also amazing. Her bright and warm spirit makes you feel “en casa” (home).

The tamales here are so good. My favorite is the chicken tamale with the green sauce. I don’t always have time to stop by because of my work schedule, but when I do I take a dozen home. My daughter loves them just like I do. The lady is really nice and she always provides great customer service. She and her business have been a part of North Pole for years. We’ve only lived here for two years and we visit when we can. You must visit this location if you are a tourist. When the tamales run out is heart breaking haha they are that good

Working here for a bit and went to Putlaw on a recommendation – absolutely 100% deserved! How lucky to find real tamales so far away from Texas. The owner is so nice, and she loaded me up with her home made salsa roja and salsa verde. Tamales cheaply priced and very tasty!

When we travel we use Google to read reviews and select restaurants etc. This practice paid off in spades when it led us to Outlaw Tamales! The owner took time to talk with us and answer questions, her personality is warm and accommodating. The pricing is in line with her product and the tamales are wonderful! Check the hours of operation and make it a priority to give this a try!

The tamales are delicious. The owner is friendly and a joy to talk to while waiting for her to package the tamales. Love the punch cards she has, great idea and more of a reason to come back. Got a dozen of chicken and another of pork and they were both delicious! Salsa is delicious also. I miss my moms tamales so having these homemade ones make me feel at home. Love supporting this local lady!
