We were refused service at JL Beers across the street for our table of 6 at 9:15pm because the staff didn’t want to work (even though they were open till 10pm) so we ventured here. We were greeted with a smile, a very friendly waitress & food was delicious. We’ll be back next time we visit Watford. Thank you! Oh, and the cheesy fried pickles are the best any of us have ever had!

Ordered the 7oz Sirloin (Billy the Kid). Didn’t want a big steak and this was the smallest that was “economical”. I asked for a medium well as the server didn’t really have an opinion on how close to medium the cook/chef would get it. I told them medium well but to err on the medium side. I like it pink in the middle but not massive red bleeding. A good medium bleeds but on the edge. My steak came out well with no pink at all. My suggestion is to order one a step rare than you like. At least non this day. I got fries and a salad and both of them were very good as sides. The steak also came out with a garlic seasoned, thin green beens. Great touch! The steak seemed small for a 7oz but that is subjective to some. All in all it was a good meal but could have been better. My bill was $24.93 before tip. Got a soda, $3.19, with my meal as well.

Grabbed dinner at the bar last night. Greeted by very friendly staff and promptly given a cocktail and a menu. I ordered the 10 oz. Sirlion and it was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and seasoned perfectly too. The fried Brussels Sprouts side were delicious. The restaurant was very busy but the Chef knocked it out of the park.
